Literally facepalmed. Like, I know most people don't know this stuff, but at least do some bloody research before making a video for all the world to see...
I fully understand why you aren't making videos as often as you used to because you need to tend to your baby and make sure she is healthy and strong over making sure that your viewers are updated on the situation. Us, the viewers, can wait bc we know that you're having a good time with wife and kid. To the random person scrolling thru the comments... Like if you agree
don't apologize for you doing what you are supposed to. You are a dad now...dad things come first (in 24 and have an eight month old at home) congrats and enjoy it. I never believed everyone when they said they grow up fast but now I definitely realize it. haha keep up the great work!
I just want to say thank you. I bought a 2017 r6 last year in June 2017, first bike, first time Rider taught my self shout out to you tubers they help with there videos plus I knew how to drive a stick shift so that help but I have done just about everything you done with your r6 smoke out tale light ,turn signals ,quick shift and running drl are about to be done but without your videos I couldn't have done any of it myself I would have spent so much money to pay the shop to do it and all the after market stuff you get is my type(send him a check if wasn't him him I wouldn't got or even knew about any of these product) so thank you for making the videos so much I didn't no anything about bikes I just knew when I could afford one I was getting one and it's because of you my I now have some bike knowledge and now even no how to change my on oil now Thank You... All the way from Saginaw Michigan Thanks AJ
yes. you need to ground the spark plug to check if it's working. just plug the lead on and touch the sparkplug to the engine or ground, then turn the engine over to see if it sparks.
We understand that having a baby is very time consuming it's okay you don't have to apologize for lack of content, the content you do release is great keep up the good work man!!
I actually had the same problem with my ruckus. You just need to throw that beast of the cliff and restart. It fixed mine. I did want to say that I understand it's hard to make vids with a child and I just want to say that it's ok if the vids are delayed the content is still really good and keep up the good work👍🏼
Great video! Thanks so much for including the last part about the wiring. I just bought this bike and that same taillight kit from JL Designs recently and this will help a ton! Also, we're all human and prone to mistakes. I'm glad you include those bloopers rather than edit them out to help others learn and avoid the same mistakes. Keep up the awesome work!
Quick FYI. If you want to hide those turn signals even more take some black paint and a small brush and brush the edge of the foam tape that holds them on. It will make the foam "disappear" and hide it even more. You can also use a black sharpie if you want.
I just wanted to say thanks for still making videos. Late or not, I KNOW it's gotta be tough with the little one... And I imagine some people don't understand and get very impatient. Thanks, alot!
Hey Moto. I just installed this on my 17 Matte R6. Thank you for the help brutha. Mine are run/brake. All soldered up and working great. Good luck on the new house. God bless you and your family. Thanks again.
Allo Moto...lol Well I did it. I pulled the trigger on a Matte Black 17 left over R6 with 0 miles. Got a GRrrrrrEAT deal. It has the cold start issue too. But I don't care. lol Got it Tuesday. I ordered JL fender elim and this light kit that you installed here. Got some other goodies coming too. ASV shorties Gold. Lowering kit because I'm short. But only need an inch drop. Frame sliders too. All on its way. I wanted to thank you again for all your videos on the R6. You helped me more than you know. Next month I'm doing the DRLs that you had done to. Imo Black matte is just sooooo sinister looking. Thanks again. Ride safe and God bless.
Great job Motonosity! Sorry for making you figure out the part of the wiring. We shipped you the day after we made them. You were the 1st person to install.. before we completed the instructions. Thanks for pointing out the mistakes. The UP-TO-DATE installation guide is now posted on our website. In a future video please show the completed lights and their function. Thanks again!!
Hey man, love the videos I think you're super brave for publishing videos of builds because when you're not a mechanic other people telling you that you're wrong can be intimidating. keep up the good work bud good luck with being a dad
I'm running into nearly the same issue with my CRF250. Not getting a spark and I've replaced nearly every electrical part. At least you seem to have determined the issue on the Ruckus.
Man your video has some of the very best quality I have ever seen.Dont know if it's camera or surrounding or the sbject nature but it's really good.Your content is very good, keep up. 👍
Did babynosity wake up because of all the hammerinosity by daddynosity in the garageosity?! I don't think she liked the R6. Oh and always remember to touch the plug to the chassis when testing the plug...that was hard to watch! Lol oh and the drilled hole....weight savings bro! You just make the R6 just a bit faster! Haha
IDK if it will mess up the voltage or whatever, but I say order a second set of those signals for the lower ledges (where you messed up and have a new hole). It could make the back a little too busy/messy looking, or it could work perfectly. Only problem being the current signals are centered, and those would be at the bottom, so it might look a little odd, but having more lights and visibility can never hurt.
I opted to cut the plugs from the fender side harness rather than cutting up the bike harness. The smoked integrated tail light really cleans up the tail nicely. I haven't seen the TST Industries fender eliminator, I went with JL Designs.
I kinda wish there were more tail tidy options that just cleaned up the fender and made it more compact and nicer looking, while keeping separated turn signals. Even in a pretty wide tail light, integrated blinkers just aren't as visible as separate ones. The last thing I need is one more reason for a car not to see me.
Beautiful girl brotha! The only people that will ever blame you for spending as much time as possible with the kiddo are those without kiddos. Enjoy the #Dadnosity time. I'm very happy for you
For that hole in the black plastic just get some black caulk and fill it up, wipe it clean and smooth, then your done. Wont even notice it. Or try one of those plastic welder pen things but idk how those work
one trick you should of used is that you should of used the the connectors off the fender to wire to, then just connect the connectors back together. that way you can unplug them to take the tail off if needed. and by the way the ruckus wont have spark without a ground to the spark plug
Not sure how it would look but rather then replace the whole piece, you could just put 2 more turn signals on either side below the ones you installed. Just a thought.
I don't know if anyone said this yet, (LOL) but you have to ground the spark plug in order to get it to spark. By the way, CUTE KID!!!! And cute dogs. :)
wanna check your sparkplug? put in a screwdriver n put the metal of the screwdriver on different metal to watch the spark. If you don't get electrified or don't see a spark you needto re-check the cableing.
I love this channel. Thanks for making it and sharing your stuff! It's been good learning a lot about my Bike "This bike". It was my first bike a 600 and I'm so glad I went with this instead of a scooter. God Bless you and your family.
Motonosity why not get another pair of turn signals and mount them on the bottom as well? Think it'll look pretty cool to have staggered turn signals. And if it doesn't look good we'll then you already going to order that plastic piece anyways so might as well experiment 👌🏽
Dude the spark plug has to be earthed. Put it on exposed frame and try again there will be spark. It looks like its running too rich judging by the spark plug. Try cleaning the plug using a wire brush and then tune the engine. CONGRATS ON THE BABY BTW I know that was a while ago but still you seem like a cool dad
+WeRideLikeThis I'll try cleaning it. I also want to swap one of the fuel lines because I don't like how it flows. I think that might be why I've needed to run a higher idle. Maybe that's why it looks like it's running rich? Not to sure as I don't have much experience with that haha. But thanks man! It's been exhausting but super rewarding :)
Use some of the plastic from your old fender to fill in that tiny whole. Use some plastic cement glue. It will melt the plastic together. Then clean it up with nail polish remover.
I'm excited my turn signal kit abs fender eliminator is in the mail and I plan to do it myself for my R1-M, or that's the plan. My local motorcycle shop is on standby though lol...
anyone else slap their forehead when he said there was no spark but he left it dangling not be grounded lol
Literally facepalmed. Like, I know most people don't know this stuff, but at least do some bloody research before making a video for all the world to see...
killer frost 😂😂😂🤣🤣
killer frost
I did, and now I have a headache...
killer frost just total face palm.
killer frost he most likely read the comments and fixed the problem
Every comment about the dam spark plug 😂
Yo I get it lol. Spark plug needs to be grounded. I tested it on a variety of different grounds. No spark. We keep moving forward :)
Lmao more then like 30 comments
Motonosity i think you need to ground it man cause ze internet said thatXD
Motonosity SAND IT DOWN UNTIL YOU SEE THE SHINY PART AGAIN
Motonosity on the engine
Motonosity We still respeck your opinions
The plug had to be grounded to the block before it'll spark
Instal double the signal Lights. 2 on each side.
CaliMike 84 what are you talking about?
Macen
I was thinking the same thing, I always push it against the nearest bolt or chunk of metal
Brennan yep, I work on bikes for a living and... yep your right
Still nothin unfortunately. Tried a bunch of different spots. No spark.
I fully understand why you aren't making videos as often as you used to because you need to tend to your baby and make sure she is healthy and strong over making sure that your viewers are updated on the situation. Thanks Brenden! Regardless, I'm eager to get more vids out to y'all :)
You weren't grounding it
You have to ground the spark plug to get a spark off it
Spark plug needs to be grounded to have the circuit completed in order to create spark. You need to have the spark plug touching the engine block.
u have to ground the spark plug to the engine block
that exactly what I was going to
say
Congrats Moto she's beautiful! My first born daughter is now 2months old and the most precious thing on this earth. It truly is a blessing!

Looks nice man! You'd hate the rain we get in filthy Cleveland!
650ib huh whole south east coast is shit....so much rain
@@northtexasskies3243 I like the rain down here in Florida it's to damn hot right now it needs to rain
Quick FYI. If you want to hide those turn signals even more take some black paint and a small brush and brush the edge of the foam tape that holds them on. It will make the foam "disappear" and hide it even more. You can also use a black sharpie if you want.
don't apologize for being a great dad. I can wait a bit longer for new vids. Btw The kid is adorable.
We get it man Just make a vid when you can #dadnosity
That new light setup is dope, can't wait for the fender eliminator and new exhaust. Shits gonna be clean as hell.
You have to ground out the plug in order for it to spark.
I just wanted to say thanks for still making videos. Late or not, I KNOW it's gotta be tough with the little one... And I imagine some people don't understand and get very impatient. Thanks, alot!
Congrats on the baby! Been working and saving up for a bike and the time is near!!!!
Hey Moto. I just installed this on my 17 Matte R6. Thank you for the help brutha. Mine are run/brake. All soldered up and working great. Good luck on the new house. God bless you and your family. Thanks again.
Who else agrees that a fender eliminator makes a bike look so much better?
+It's Arsh everybody ;) it's coming soon! No later than next week!
If only all the experts on here could just come over to your garage and fix the ruckus themselves. That taillight is pretty slick! 👊🐢☠️
YOOOOO we got a second motovlog dad now! Happy to see that the vids haven't dropped in quality just in quantity!

Your R6 just became one of the coolest looking R6's out there 👍👍
+MotoMike 😀
Soldering and wiring stuff and doing it right is very rewarding. Good work
Great job Motonosity!
All those modes make it so much easier to install on my bikes!
Hey man, love the videos I think you're super brave for publishing videos of builds because when you're not a mechanic other people telling you that you're wrong can be intimidating. keep up the good work bud good luck with being a dad
+James Terry Thanks man 😅 Comes with the territory. And hey, I learn some things haha
I'm running into nearly the same issue with my CRF250. Not getting a spark and I've replaced nearly every electrical part. At least you seem to have determined the issue on the Ruckus.
Next thing you know your wearing jorts and driving a vette.... #Dadnosity
DoItWithDadnosity?
So after watching tons of your vids i bought myself a 2takt 50cc yamaha aerox. Did a bit of work on the scooter n i'm happy! 100km/h max speed atm :D
+Abel Jeroen Gomez Hernandez van Muijlwijk Very cool dude!
Man your video has some of the very best quality I have ever seen.Dont know if it's camera or surrounding or the sbject nature but it's really good.Your content is very good, keep up. 👍
You have to ground the spark plug
Hey, not sure if anyone has mentioned this but the spark plug has to be grounded to get a spark. Happy to help!
spark plug has to be grounded to make spark, easiest way to do that is hold it against the motor somewhere while cranking over the motor
Haha
That tenth of an ounce of weight savings is gonna come in handy haha
DunePanda just make more holes
Awesome vid well worth the wait. Nice tech battle with the R6 tail lighting! Great seeing doggy, wife & baby! Hope u all get some good rest!!
nearly fell of the couch laughing when he didn't ground it
same thing!
IDK if it will mess up the voltage or whatever, but I say order a second set of those signals for the lower ledges (where you messed up and have a new hole). So much yas, I can't wait to see it with the fender eliminator.
I opted to cut the plugs from the fender side harness rather than cutting up the bike harness. The smoked integrated tail light really cleans up the tail nicely. I haven't seen the TST Industries fender eliminator, I went with JL Designs.
Ive had this light on my r1 since 2015
Im salty that uve made this video cus i knoooowwwww i’ll see it everywhere now

owns over 30k worth of bikes and doesn't know how to check a spark plug lol. thanks bro that made my day!
Beautiful girl brotha! The only people that will ever blame you for spending as much time as possible with the kiddo are those without kiddos. Enjoy the #Dadnosity time. I'm very happy for you
looks sooo nice man! Noticeable improvement to the aesthetics of the bike :)
For that hole in the black plastic just get some black caulk and fill it up, wipe it clean and smooth, then your done. Wont even notice it. Or try one of those plastic welder pen things but idk how those work
congrats on the baby broseph! new subscriber here, hope everything works out with the ruckus!
sorry but i totally died when he was like "nope, no spark" XD :D
God bless your little angel. She's adorable. Give a hug from one of your subscribers please.
+SithLord 69 Done :)
Anyone els following his build in end of 2019? Just got the 2019 R6 trying to mod it best I can glad for these videos
one trick you should of used is that you should of used the the connectors off the fender to wire to, then just connect the connectors back together. that way you can unplug them to take the tail off if needed. and by the way the ruckus wont have spark without a ground to the spark plug
That rain looks like here in Jacksonville every day
Not sure how it would look but rather then replace the whole piece, you could just put 2 more turn signals on either side below the ones you installed. Just a thought.
Plastic weld or get a bit of Sugru for that hole you drilled, saves replacing it, or until you replace it.
I don't know if anyone said this yet, (LOL) but you have to ground the spark plug in order to get it to spark. By the way, CUTE KID!!!! And cute dogs. :)
That tail light looks amazing!
+Smo Thanks bro!
For that spot where the hole is... just a dab of jb weld from the inside out! You will never notice it again and no water will go in....!
That mess of wires is why I went with the plug and play system for my R1. The only new wire I added was for my tst fender eliminator.
wanna check your sparkplug? put in a screwdriver n put the metal of the screwdriver on different metal to watch the spark. If you don't get electrified or don't see a spark you needto re-check the cableing.

I can't wait for the next vlog where he talks about how hounded he was in the comments about NOT GROUNDING THE SPARKPLUG! 😭
touch the end of the plug to metal to see if there's spark
Nothin 😭
Most likely cdi
Motonosity Maybe the Spark Plug Itselve is shot? Try a new one.
bro the CUSTOM LED one is WAYYYYYY better! thats what i got on my R1.
U have to put the spark plug on something metal to set if it gets spark
You could "save" the mis-drilled hole by getting another set of those turn signals and using on those lower ones as well
Face palm but you get it so ill say no more lol! I loved that your ladies stopped out in the garage to check on you.
Looks pretty awesome!
It's raining in Florida too
Like always
Okay guys, he gets it. but he already grounded his plug once and now has a daughter.
+The Inja HEYO
Got the same one on my r6 love the cleaned up look with a fender eliminator!

Use some of the plastic from your old fender to fill in that tiny whole. Use some plastic cement glue. It will melt the plastic together. Then clean it up with nail polish remover.
You'll get used to the sleep deprivation thing. The girls were looking so cute together. Hang in there! All things in their own time. ☮️
I'm excited my turn signal kit abs fender eliminator is in the mail and I plan to do it myself for my R1-M, or that's the plan. My local motorcycle shop is on standby though lol...
Love that you show your mistakes aswell😁
hit the hole you don't need up with some epoxy. you could find some rtv type sealant from locktite, it should last you a good bit and comes in black.
oh dear, new dad brain. earth the plug to the engine while cranking please. great vid as always
Looks sick man nice vid with funny edits :D
im jelly how the turn indicators sit!! looks great
You could just add another set of blinkers, which might save you money and will make you more illuminated so people can see you
Wouldn't you want a good exhaust tho before all of this? At least a slip-on? Or are you already waiting on one to arrive? Great video!
Guys go easy on my man Motonosity about grounding the spark plug I think he gets it now. Sheesh 😂
Wait, I should do what now?
Just trying to get some of these mechanic gurus off your back, motovlogg bouncer if you will Lol
I have the 2016 R1 and this video is so helpful thanks man
Really want to see what this tail light kit looks like n the dark - great choice though!
Bit late to the party here but you've got to ground the spark plug to get spark. Hold the base of the plug to the block.
R6 love
buy a second set of turn signals and put them on the second ledge!
New Hampshire plate on top of the pile!
It is cheaper to find black reflective sticker to cover that hole and you can put design to you taste, it will be cool.
my god that tail light its sweet!
if i remember correctly, i think you have to ground the spark plug first before it'll spark... just a hunch
OMG lol! and should clarify the other comments grounding it means touch the spark plug end to the frame not the dirt.
