I had to admire Charles for flying to Paris to get Diana’s body after her death. Too bad he couldn’t have shown her that love and kindness when she was alive.

I cannot understand all this 'Hate' for Charles. He had an unhappy childhood and was practically forced to marry Diana when he had always loved Camilla. Diana was very manipulative and destructive and was an unstable person with a mental illness. I think Charles went through hell. Why does nobody seem to mention all the adulterous affairs that Diana conducted? I was never taken in by Diana. I think that TV interview she made was disgraceful. She tried to destroy the Royal Family - like Meghan, although different circumstances. I am so glad that Charles is so happy now and with the woman he loves.

@@valeriedavidson2785 I'm with you about Charles. People will believe anything, like the Crown. It's a television show, one that's based on them it doesn't make it factual. I remember watching Charles and Diana before their wedding, their relationship was not the fairytale it was said to be. Charles had to marry out of duty, yet people seem to forget Camilla helped Charles find a suitable wife for heirs to the thrown. I didn't dislike Diana, I saw a young lady who didn't understand what she was getting into. She'd said the day they married she felt conflicting emotions. It's my opinion that the public should focus their hatred and energy on Andrew.

And it's to bee mentioned how every person judges life with their OWN portfolio robe and gavel. And for any scenario it's very important to BRINGAH! Bring those portfolios dare I say the robes too. And the gavel, just completes the ensemble of like I have to say bring that wigg too you know. The one that's gonna make us all looke like George Washi........ Sorry, a slight readjustment, back on the freeway! Bring all of those items to a place. I don't know what that place might bee for you. For me, Starbuck's Peet's Bellatorri's Diamond Park will do just fine. And let's discuss it. Orr not. But let's settle it. Although we know like we just KNOW it will never bee settled. But having Margaret from your Human Resources Department and her no backbone good for nothing huss band throw shade in MY direction at YOUR companies annual Oakland A's Baseball Season opener that YOU invited me to like you invited me yo all of those breakfasts lunches dinners and powowws and having Margrrett, point her tiny little gnarly ass dry chipped nail polished shinny knuckle in MyFace, is not how were to do anything please thank you. At the very least her husband sawr the Twinkle in my eye, whilst I turned. Just to look at him. Dead in his face. Eye contact. No blinkqinn now! This is serious. Cause I didn't see him again. Rest of the evenin.
And no. Seriously. Some things mean more to others than to ones self. Like the word respect. Aretha sang that song hell. She's still sinfing that song. R. E. S P E C T. Find out WHAT it means to mher. N her. N her. N her. N him. N they. N those. N them. N her. I could literally go oun and oun to literally tomorrow. Because right now it is the brink of dawn is why I anyway..... But if you were yo ask me that question you'd see. I'd show that weather I have the respect of someone for some reason orr not means nothing. Almost very little quite frankly. There are other factors that go with that criteria that I reference and usually, those ARE and WILL always bee met.
But you Ma'am are a lady. And that's an entire like plethorah, my nose is beginning to sweat. The day is cold. I'm snugg. In blankets. That's how important respect is for women and ladies from OneDay Young to TwoHundred Years young. And it should always make the bowehss just a little nervosa chimichangass to remain within those lines and have respect. I really wish for you Mademoiselle, that you find what's to bee found orr that your looking for I should say so that you can turnthe page. Maybe begin a niew chapter that's totally mind blowing differing and bombastique in comparison to the past. Auchante'. I know that the French are..... Loving......

Hopefully they will live a life to her credit and take peace in this. Allowing their lives to carry forward the love she gave them, and the good examples of service to others--a living memorial to her life.

Parents' expectations should be set aside. Look at your children and find what their strengths are and where they're weakest. Then maybe you can help them. All I got as a teen was lectured and yelled at when I didn't measure up. I know I failed. On the other hand, I was the eldest child. Had a sister with Downs and she was 11 yrs younger and NO ONE explained anything to me. My mother collapsed and I was left wondering what was so wrong with my sister that my mother took to her bed and had to have the priest come. It was terrifying to an 11 yr old. My brother came along when I was almost 16. He would awaken every night and scream his head off. We all spent hours walking the floor with him. When I was much younger my mother and father would fight to the point where my mother would tell me she was going to get a divorce and who did I want to live with. I was terrified thinking about having make that choice. Arguments were frequent. After awhile you stop listening and try to disappear inside your own world. I read alot to escape. I was a so-so student because I was expected to come home from school and help with dinner, cleanup and getting the kids to bed. Weekends were the same. To say things went downhill over time is a given. I did not go to college. My interests were not considered but thought of as frivolous. I went to secretarial school instead of college...my grades were not college material even though I was told my IQ was over 140...I had no idea what that signified and didn't care. I just wanted to get a job and eventually getting out of the house. Many more things occurred over the years til I finally was told I wouldn't be living at home anymore
My mother found me a room in a home in another town and I was ousted. It was a great relief. More occurred over time. I never did drugs or slept around. Finally ended up at the far end of the country...my parents wanted to know why I lived so far away. Really??? There was more to it. Suffice it to say, I still live 3000 miles away. When people query why Charles is as he is...well, we don't always find the life we were thrust into by birth to be the one we once thought we'd have. People need to give him a chance...he's been scrutinized since birth and found in some circles wanting. He wasn't born with a crown on his head...he was just born into a royal family and nobody I am sure asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up.

I don't want to re-live the details again, but it's what you hopefully take from those times that make you a stronger, better person. It can go either way, and I hope you are happy now. If you have children, you know what Not to do! You write very well, and your intelligence shines through. Use your strengths to carry on, and if need be, go to college at night or online. There are so many options now to improve your education, should you want to. Find something you love to do, and then go for it. I wish I had done that after I grew weary of what I originally chose, as I eventually had a nervous breakdown. I'm retired now, living with my husband of 27 years and 2 cats and a dog. Come to think of it, for Charles, it was Camilla from the beginning until today. Though I believe some good came out of Charles and Diana's marriage - William and Harry.
As for the crown skipping a generation, I am excited to see Prince William become king as he represents the present generation. However, as I think about it, I want to give the Cambridges' time to bond together as a family especially that the kids are still growing up. If William becomes king at this point in time, I think it will affect the relationship of their family especially Prince George who is the heir apparent.

Charles will be king by law of succession, it can’t skip a generation. He’s the legitimate heir and that’s how the monarchy works. Frederik said when he was 18 that he did not want that sort of life , and would bring up his own children together with his wife. Queen Margrethe said that she was "fond " of her children, but did not know how to bring children up, so handed them over to nannies and servants.
For generations of Royal children life has been 1) life in the Nursery with nannies from 0 years to 8 years
      2) Boarding school from 8 years to 18 years
      3) Eating and socialising with their parents adult orientated world from 18 plus years. Even on Christmas Day at Sandringham ,the children were catered for and with nannies. Being gone 6 months at a time and then greeting the little guy with a handshake !? Then, allowing Philip, to send him to that boarding school where he was picked on and berated for YEARS. Only to graduate and return home for his Father to send him to the military. Even down to who he loved and wanted to be with ......, Queen Elizabeth evn refused to let him make that choice for himself ! The "funniest" thing Ms Markle stated in the Oprah Interview, was that she would have "abandoned her career for Harry." What kind of career does she mean? To be a tiny little struggling B-list actress among many other thousands Hollywood actresses, who finally got a role in a TV series, but whose name was almost unknown…until Harry…for whatever reasons… fell in love with her?And the "second funniest" thing was that she stated she was “ not impressed by celebrities,” referring to the royal family) because, as she said, she had already seen so many Hollywood actors while growing up because of her father worked as a lighting technician. That means, she compared the popularity of an "institution of a whole country" with her little career, which she could always refresh… as soon as Harry will divorce her, and she could always play the "poor little abandoned wifey," the alleged victim, in order get new roles - unlike Harry. He's done, because he can not play "cry baby" like Mrs. Markle in interviews for the purpose to get new roles --- because this institution he belonged to and in which he grew up - was his life ... And that’s all he knew about life, not the slums of Los Angeles and not the world of struggling actors who would do anything for fame…The only one who gave something up was Harry. Namely everything!

They both sliced and diced each other with words and actions. Only Charles knows how he really felt for Diana. Only Diana knows if she really did love him or was she taken in by his celebrity? I never heard of Charles saying anything in public, in a recording or written, about Diana other than spilling their dirty laundry to the world (stupid)
You could see the “I hate you” on her face. Bad poker player. She talked to son William as a teen about Charles and that probably wasn’t the best idea, but she felt loved and a loyalty from her children she never experienced.
Charles had Camilla. I don’t see Charles being totally at fault as the RF forced him to marry Diana knowing the damn truth about Camilla. I think it was Margaret who begged them to stop what they were doing as it was going to be bad. He loved Camilla so deeply no one could ever compete with that. We can’t choose who we fall in love, flip a switch and it’s over. God bless Margaret.
There were times when we saw C&D very happy and times, not so much. He was too worldly for her as she was a teenager who had family issues before he met her. She was a girl who needed her husband to teach and lead his young wife as he should have done rather than getting frustrated with each other. The RF wanted an heir and Diana’s foot fell right into Cinderella’s slipper as the one for the job. In his defense, being much older, educated, and worldly while Diana had no experience to even relate to his wealth circle and lacked a formal education. I can see how conversation could be problematic. Despite her life experiences, she was a very willing participant who thought she loved him, but never really knew him. She tried her best, and it’s not about people feeling superior as much as her insecurity. There was nothing she wouldn’t try to make him happy. College expands one’s horizon and naturally leans us closer to those who we share a common interest. She didn’t understand the wealth system and saw people as just that. People. It made her the amazing woman she grew into.
Decisions were made and never should have. William would not have been born and never had his beautiful family. Harry, who I have not one kind word to say about, so I shall say nothing about 💩 show happening now.

Diana was a unique human being and I was a great fan of her. I am only 14 months her senior. However, the lives of both Charles and Diana were destroyed by this stupid institution, where several of its family members are institutionalised, having lived in an out dated old fashioned world!!! I truly think they needed the influence of Diana to move into a better future! But, I say Prince Charles has waited long enough, and the wait isn’t over yet, so let him be King, if he seriously wants to be King! As far as the Duke of Sussex being let down still seems like it would made sense to do the job for say ten years after marriage. After which you can ok Im ready to move there by solving or allowing the r. family/the country to adjust. Also I can't see why Duchess Meghan couldn't get medical help to help her cope with the situation so many have it far worse than them, a lot of organization's were counting on their help that a real shame as well.

So why Charles and Camilla managed to overrule this situation and marry poor lovely Dianna she knew what he was doing behind her back. Shame Charles insisted on the grand marriage to Dianna, knowing what it would do to Dianna and Camilla also. Had they stuck to the rules Dianna may still be here. I am glad Dianna found love behind Charles's back I hope it hurt him as much as he hurt Dianna.
