Was excited to see a longer than usual vlog! Fun! FYI: there are disposable crockpot liners. You put it in first and then put in all your ingredients. When you’re done you just throw it away and you just have to rinse the black ceramic part. No scrubbing! It’s amazing!

Elliot and Matt try TKMaxx for your candles ( Shrewsburys store fabulous ) as it's amazing and can recommend DW candles for scent but your be amazed at the endless shapes, colours and fragrances of them all , also their Christmas decorations are gorgeous x
I have been missing Matt and his blog. Can’t wait for the next one. I have an easy “Texas” recipe for your slow cooker. I assume you all can get salsa in a jar where you live. Pick up your favorite kind in a large jar. I get one that is CHUNKY and not one that is more smooth. I like to see the ingredients. Anyway. Get your favorite roast…I use an “eye of round” roast. It has little to no fat on it. Put it in the crock pot. Pour the salsa over it and cook until the roast is tender. (Usually about 6 hours). When it is done you can do one of two things. Eat it hot is one. Sometimes I put the roast in the refrigerator overnight with all the juices in a separate bowl. I slice the roast and then heat the slices up in some of the juices. The roast is flavored wonderfully. Makes great taco meat or meat for quesadillas! Sometimes I put carrots in with the roast after it has cooked about 2 to 3 hours. That way the carrots don’t get overcooked. The carrots have a great flavor too all because of a jar of salsa!
Love my crockpot - just one hint - the inside gets very marked - don’t make the mistake my friend did in her brand new one - put it in the sink (hot) and turned the tap on it to soak ……… it cracked 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈. There are people who buy plastic liners but I don’t like the thought of slowly cooking my stuff in plastic - yum. Don’t add too much fluid - the steam from the lid adds lots of fluid - try not to take the lid off at all during cooking

Love the slim storage shoe rack - I've ordered one in grey (£8 less than the black!) - so practical. I use my crock pot all the time, cooking beef goulash in it tomorrow - also great for stews and curries. Great vlog 😄

Elliot you should get the fence topper that prevents cats from jumping over the fence.
Great vlog. I think you can buy something to go on top of the fence, curved, which stops cats getting out.
