Yeah I know what you mean. Happens to me every time on the big ones. Anything can happen till you got em in your hands and even then I've had a few get away. lol Thanks for watching!
That was a beautiful fish and it fought. Those are the moments that make fishing amazing it’s such a great feeling to bring it in especially when they are trophies like that. Great video!!
@ Nelson H. Hey thanks! Yeah, that's one I won't soon forget. She really did put up a good fight. I hope to catch her again one day when she will be bigger but it won't be easy because she's a little smarter now. lol Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey thanks! Yes... it's a Penn Battle 2 combo from Bass Pro. It's a seven foot, fast action Penn graphite rod with a Penn Battle 2 reel loaded with 12lb. test, green mono line. Thanks for watching!
Just found a Dinger watermelon pearl hanging on a branch on the Withlacoochee river kayak fishing. Couldn’t get a bite on any worms. Threw that thing on and it was on. Lost it landing a bowfin that shook it off my line. I’ve searched for two days trying to find out the brand. Found it today and bought a pack. Probably going back for more lol.
LOL! That's a great story! Too bad it got thrown off, you probably would have had more hits on it. Just goes to show, a second (or third) hand watermelon pearl, yum dinger can get hits when nothing else will. My all-time favorite freshwater bait! Glad you figured out what it was and got a pack. If they work as good for you as they have for me you won't look back. Good luck and thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey Christian. I would have to say that would be the Yum crawdads, both the brown and orange ones and the silver flake ones for big bass. Here is a video using one of the Yum crawdads if you are interested. th-cam.com/video/nCht-oFsQLM/w-d-xo.html I also do pretty well with Strike King Super Toads. Thanks for watching and commenting
It was a rainy Tuesday with light wind about 3:30 in the afternoon. Air Temperature was about 75 degrees F. Winds were about 3 MPH Barometer was 30.04 Humidity 100%.

It was raining . You can probably see the raindrops hitting the water. It started out not too bad then rain got on the lens and there wasn't much I could do about it as I was fighting a ten pound bass and there was no one with me to wipe my lens off as I was alone. It's a shame but it is what it is.
If you ever catch a ten pounder in the rain and happen to film it. please send me a link to watch it.. would love to see it. I love that sort of thing. Thanks for watching!

I’ve caught more bass off the watermelon Pearl Jam dinger than any other lure, including the senko which I use just as often
