    Really appreciate you touching on this topic & the transparency with the numbers. Always find that UK TH-camrs never share figures which always annoys me with videos like these lol

      If you listen very carefully, I say "Atlantic".

    On the darker shade. Despite losing a bit of the shape for being darker, the Taycan is not a small car and going lighter makes the car look bulkier. For smaller cars like the 718, going a lighter color makes sense but for bigger cars panamera/taycan, going darker has it's benefits. I think I would have gone for Ice Grey my second time around, but my wife insisted on a darker shade to demonstrate seriousness and maturity. Volcanic grey is a complex color, in some lighting it has a dark green shade to it. Still a very handsome car by all means.

      Yeah - it's still a good colour, and fully agree on the green tint to it in some conditions. Does pop when it's just been cleaned 🔥

    You should do a video on the cost if you lease through a salary sacrifice scheme. The savings are insane. I pay about 50% of your installment cost for a fully loaded GTS, and that includes the insurance, tyres, servicing etc ... and I didn't have to put anything down at all

    • @TABonTV
      @TABonTV  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I could do but I'm worried I'll struggle holding back the tears - wasn't an option for me! 😆

    • @AGDunc
      @AGDunc ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ha ha Don't worry. I understand that. It was the only reason I was able to get one to be honest. I couldn't justify the cost otherwise
      I think a video on that could drive a fair amount of traffic though, depending on how you cover it. We have a little one on the way so we are looking at childcare costs again, but the car helps to make me eligible for 30 hours free childcare again, which is worth £5.5k / year on its own (which isn't included in lease cost I hinted at in my original comment). If we had twins coming I would be close to being net positive by leasing the car, which is nuts!
      There's definitely an opportunity to do non-clickbait video on how to get paid for driving a Taycan (in the right circumstances) ;-) @@TABonTV

      @@AGDunc Could be an interesting one! Having twins seems like quite high effort to drive a Taycan for free though 😆in all seriousness good luck with the new addition to the family!

    Nice one.
    I wonder if forthcoming Macan EV's GFV will be like the one you had - kept going up?
    I have my eyes on it :)

    • @TABonTV
      @TABonTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it might struggle as it's an EV. They're just not holding right now (in the UK anyway).

    I’m being quoted 10.3% which is insane compared to last year. In fact , 2 yrs ago I got a brand new BMW M340 at 2.9%! But as you say we live in a different world now. I still would like the Taycan and will end up taking out a 10%+ PCP. The difference now, however, is I’ll probably have to keep the car to term and get the GFV. Unless things change back the other way and the Taycan starts to hold its value.

    • @harmony3138
      @harmony3138 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I've read, Macan EV will be priced lower than Taycan, and will have better range too. Porsche claim that, it will be the sportiest SUV in its segment. And I think SUVs are holding their values better than sedans.
      So, what about Macan EV?
      I will be tempted. Its not too far off, coming next year.

      Not sure why people painfully pay so much interest rate to the bank. Just save money and get a used one for less than half the price and save yourself some serious money.
