The viking boat and sides sides look really low ! , I guess boat had a lower centre of gravity like that ? , amazing to think they sailed in boats like this into the North Sea and Iceland Greenland Arctic seas
I think the sides are taller from the water line then they look and I do not think they could be much taller when rowing the boat. I could not find a good answer for you, really...
