Hello my friend from London! Firstly I want to say that I'm not very good with mobile phones, tablet ect and wouldn't even know how to unbox a new PC and set it up to turn on and work on let alone how to even use one or even a laptop. But I'm learning all about android and now know a little more then the average person. Your videos has made this possible as most of what I now know was taught to me from you and your videos. So firstly I'd like to say thankyou and also that your content is much better then all else I've watched due to your clear and very understanding way at how you speak and explain to us in a way that is very unintimidating way. Belive me when I say it can be very much hard work trying to understand tech folks sometimes when a word or name is used thinking most folk would already know what that is or means. Yet you do not do this as you always explain things and what they are, they do or where to get from. Your the best out there at this and so thankyou and look forward to watching more or your videos. I do have 1 question though, what is the APP called that we need to do this
the reason why it's not standard in the US market is because they want us all to pay for Wi-Fi so we can stream stuff wirelessly cuz we think it's in technological improvement when it's really an inferior and slower connection than having something hardwired to a larger display but what I know I'm crazy
Yes, you're crazy. It's not standard in ANY country market. You don't stream movies from your phone to your TV. You stream them from Internet. How is connecting your phone to TV with cable would solve it? And who "they" want you to pay for "wi-fi"? You pay your Internet provider for Internet, why would companies that make TVs and phones would care how much you pay for Internet? The reason why streaming popular and wired connection isn't - is because of "fidelity belly", google it. Not because of some crazy conspiracy. Many technologies go through "fidelity belly". Basically it means that in order to survive the technology must be either high convenient or high quality. And if it's in the middle - it dies. Cinema and streaming are doing good, but Blu-ray and DVD discs died, because they have better quality then streaming but less convenient, and they are more convinient then cinema but have worse quality.
saves about 5 cents per phone to not include HDMI over USB C 5 cents is not much, but if you're a big manufacturer that sold a million phones that's another 50k earned. And obviously this is not the only thing they try to save money on, once you add it all up they make much more on every phone.
My samsung A32 apparently doesn't support dex or native video out either. You would think a charging dock that connects to a tv would be standard fare by now. Personally I think being hardwired via ethernet and docked to the big screen with voice commands or a remote would be awesome. Wireless is great, but if having a wire isn't a deal breaker it's always superior.
@SalmanKhan-2005 as far as I can tell only the a90 of the a series works for it. S series, notes, foldable ones all seem to be compatible but none of the a-# aside from a90 have the function
just subscribed to your channel, great to find the same infos and questions I've been searching for. thanks !! .. I was thinking on the netflix / other streaming platforms issue, did you try a HDMI splitter to see if it clears the 'bad hdmi signal' sent to the monitor/tv?
Could this be used to hook up a tablet or phone to a capture card? I'm guessing the picture could, but the audio would probably bypass and go straight to the TV?
Could this device work on a usb hub connected to an Android device ? Im curious to know if it will work, that way you could connect more than one controller (wired) to the USB hub and play multiplayer games on an emulator
@@Techamunacom Appreciate you trying I really thought it would work :( But I have some news just today I found another cable similar to the one you reviewed supports miracast with HDMI cable as well as extra USB ports there are two versions one called onebit x9 the other onebit x10 I haven't researched much about them yet, just thought you might be interested

im having trouble with my android 11 phone in most of this device and accessories, all of my procon and joycons don't work. it can only be paired, do you think this device supports android 11? seems Android 11 is problematic when it comes to accessories and device.
If you are facing issues with connected devices (for example, your controller is not recognized in games), you need to turn off all special options for people with disabilities (something like that) on your phone (those are related to physical options, audial options and etc.). You should also turn off option that allows using phone with one hand (like when you swipe on option buttons on the very bottom of your screen, your whole screen gets smaller so that you can use it with one hand)
Does the audio sound come from the TV or Phone speaker? If it needs the phones bluetooth connection, then does that mean i cant use the bluetooth connection for my bluetooth speaker? Does it still not allow Netflix in 2024? Will it work on Galaxy A12 phone which does not support Alt mode?
