That is the craziest place ever for an oil fill cap. To have to remove a shield then root around through a cluster of wire looms is nutty. Say what you will but the old school tractors with the oil breather sticking through the top of the hood was the best. My 4000 Ford filler cap is behind the battery but they made it very easy to swing the battery out of the way for servicing the tractor. Nice video and it's nice to see how the other tractors are serviced.
It would be nice if Kubota would extend the oil filler tube 4 inches or so.Would make adding oil much easier.Enjoyed the video Ben.Take care, stay safe and have a blessed day.🚜👍👏❤️🙏
I looked at a Kubota for my oldest son, but he got a New Holland 120hp cabbed tractor instead. I agree with your opinion on the hydro static transmission, I have a garden tractor, Troy Bilt, that has it and I would love to have auto throttle on it. Nice video, thanks, have a good Sunday!
I think you only need to change one of the hydraulic filters at 50 and the other around 300 I believe the one at 300 is the one that will drain your fluid
That oil fill is in a bad spot I'm happy with our koiti 2610 and tym 474 both are mechanical everything no mess of wiring on engine old school way tractors should be

This could have easily been avoided if they wanted to. Thanks for watching
kubota are some of the lightest tractors on the market, which stands to reason that they have less iron, including the loader.
😂😂😂🤣

The vacuum is essential when only changing filters as it saves you from an oil bath. Thanks for sharing.
Yes sir! Thanks for watching
Your dad slipped up the other day by telling the date when you were spreading fertilizer
I did that for you, so you know the date and year. (Ben's Dad)
I have no problem doing that I just forget too.

It’s just hard to think of everything. This was last Saturday the 23rd of March.
I think you only need to change one of the hydraulic filters at 50 and the other around 300 I believe the one at 300 is the one that will drain your fluid
One is a hydraulic filter and one is a hydrostatic filter. Thanks for watching

Yes sir!
What size is your shop?
It’s 24’x40’. Thanks for watching
Man that’s a weird place for a filler cap!!! You can tell a mechanic didn’t design it!!!
I love watching your service & maintenance videos!!
Yeah it is! Thanks for watching
Having to take the guard off every time to put oil in would really make me an unhappy person
John Deere, in that frame size, is the same way.
Well that seems like a hassle. My MF 1835 is really easy to get to everything important.
If everything is good you should only have to do this once or twice a year but still it could have been located better. Thanks for watching
