- Today on Baggers and BS I head over to Torque Custom Cycles in Hackensack NJ to swap the BST carbon wheels from my 2021 CVO to The 2023 CVO, then I take quick ride for a review of how the wheels feel, how they perform and man opinion on the swap.

I have to say it took me a year and a half to pull the trigger, but i feel it was worth the game changing experience. 🤷🏽♂️
It never ends ! Happy to see the upcoming build from the ground up 💪🏽🔥
Yes sir !!! Thank you for the help on the pics btw
@@Baggersandbs anytime bro 💪🏽🔥
Good morning John unfortunately I traded in the Indian and got a low rider ST. I was very happy with my decision however, unfortunately I won’t be having that fender for sale.
IAM happy with it as is .. I perfer stock exhaust..and will stay with it..power wise..it has more than my skill level could ever use..and I been on two wheels since I was 4 years old...iam 68 in 3 months..but it's interesting to see how younger riders react and modify theses beautiful platforms from all the manufacturing company's it's going to be a great time for younger riders as you to what the next 30 years rolls off the line..!
Thank you for watching, and truth be told bike has plenty of power stock, I totally agree with you on that and it’s not really necessary to modify these all that much. I guess we just love having that extra power. Lol but for me part of the fun is the modification. You’re right it is going to be very interesting to see What happens in the coming years. Amazing that you’ve been riding since you were four and still continue to love it and do it. That is awesome. Again, thank you for watching and for commenting.
Love this bike dude!
Ty bro !!! Me too it’s pretty awesome so far !!!
@@Baggersandbs Carbon wheels are the final frontier, I can’t bring myself to spend the money just yet … but maybe its just a matter of time
🔥🔥🔥 they look good on the new CVO!
Thank you brother much appreciated, stay tuned for more. Lol
they look much better than the cvo wheels
Looking good bro!!! I glad they fit and u didnt have to buy another pair lol!!
Ty bro, lol I’m glad they fit too lol was terrified to have to get new ones 😂😂
Planted...funny you mention that..on my pan American because of the rider tech it feels like the front end is almost like your hitting ice or oil or slick surface just for a fraction of a second.its something to do with lean angle..abs..and traction control to help rider not to leave the bike envelope..and lose control..
Wow interesting. You’re the only other i have heard say this. I’m very curious now if that is what’s giving us that same feeling? Ty for watching and commenting. I’ll def be asking about that at the dealership.
Hey there! I enjoyed your videos So how was the change when you put the 23 wheels onto your 21 CVO What kind of changes did you have to do? Like the spacing and how they line up
Thanks
Ty for watching and commenting, swapping was pretty smooth, everything transferred over without modification. The wheels needed some slight opening of the valve opening because the TPMS were slightly larger an that was it. We drilled wheels out a few millimeters and they were fine.
I have the 2023 cvo road glide with 2into1 khrome works with Harley extreme air cleaner and pro street tuner 115hp 129 tq I bought a Corbin seat chopped tour pk to match ohlins rear suspension even tho bk suspension is some what new it still blows in my opinion I would love some carbon wheels they look badass I got very lucky to buy bike for sticker 42,999
Awesome set up, once you get those Carbone wheels it’s gonna be a total game changer I promise
What was total cost of upgrade to the carbon rims? Iam considering it..but I don't just want the cheapest ...but saving is a factor in my circumstance..thank you..this bike is RG CVO 23
Yes it is the 23 RG CVO. Wheel & tires and labor came out to a bit over 6k after taxes.
In the end, isn't it what makes you happy ? If that is your standard M.O. on upgrades, the swap is a good move. For exhaust. I've always have heard good things about D&D. Don't know anything about the other company you mentioned.
Is the Indian getting ignored in all the fuss on the CVO ? I still say sell the 21 CVO to a good home (is MK87 in the market for an upgrade ????)
Anyway, I'll keep watching
You’re right it is about what makes you happy, DND is definitely one of the top like you said. As far as the Indian, I feel like it might be getting a little bit ignored lately. But don’t worry I will definitely be doing more with it and riding it more I did just put new crash bars on it Last week. I also agree with you on selling the 21 CVO. I love that bike, but if I can find a good home, I will. If not then I’ll just keep it as of now MK I think is very happy with his bike, however, my brother is interested in my 21 CVO so that is also a possibility. Thanks for watching brother, i Appreciate you.
Did you ever sell the rear fender from your challenger?
I did not. It’s sitting in a box still
@@Baggersandbs i ask when i saw the video with mk you have said you're working with Kyle from forevery rad and you were probably going to sell the rear fender i have a 21 challenger i did the brainstorms kit and t bar setup.
I was gonna. He was trying to sell stuff too. I’d love to sell it i have a ton of stock stuff to sell. Barnstormer kit is fantastic right? I loved mine
@@Baggersandbs most definitely i just got back from Tennessee stop at Indian and harely i got looks and ask mad questions on the look and feel of my challenger. Hopefully next week I'll be dropping it off to Lebanon Indian and john is doing the stage one S&S 2:1 exhaust lloydz tune and see how it runs after that
It’s gonna be a monster bro. Yea i always got mad questions too. I got rid of it only cause they can’t tune 2023. Otherwise i loved it. But hatted being limited to 112-115 whatever the limiter stopped at
Only problem with carbon fiber wheels there not very durable especially if left out in the sun they degrade.
No kidding? I did not know that, i always thought the cold would be the enemy if anything. Ty for that info.
@Baggersandbs your welcome. Great bike have fun ride safe. Can't believe I have 31 yrs on 2 now
Thank you again for the support and thanks for watching, Mort to come, and 31 years on 2 is amazing. I’m looking forward to climbing that ladder myself and staying on 2s.
I had some on my 2020 cvo and they front wheel cracked
Really??? Oh boy. What was the cause do you think? Pothole weather, bad roads, or combination of all?
