Another great video. Thanks! Ever thought of interviewing one of the hotel staff and asking about their daily life, how they are treated, income, lifestyle? Just a thought. Also, how much are the massages from street businesses compared to hotel massages? I remember paying equivelant of $2/massage.

Not too crazy about the beach crowd so that section is probably good for us. How long is the walk to the nicer white sands beach?

@@socialsamy if I was going to stay in that area, I would definitely stay at Awaken instead of Le Sands. Fyi, the in-room safe in VN Hotels is not always anchor down to the floor. We’re traveling there in December. Do you think it’s too cold to swim in the beach or pool? We’re hesitating if we need to stay where the pool is indoor to avoid the cold weather or not. But those hotels with beachfront pools are really nice
@@lavender8980 pool is fine sometimes the sun is out and then it’s actually warm it just cools down from the rain but with sun no problem. I know people go to the beach but the waves are a bit rough so people surf more. I did some good reviews from My An beach front hotel you should check out before booking. Coming out next week! We saw Le Sands and Awaken are great but they’re a bit off the activity center. If you have link for Yarra or Balcona we can use it for you. We plan to stay for like 10 days to 2 weeks.

The thing is traveling to Vietnam, the airfare from the USA or Canada is expensive! And plus it is a long flight, for say only10-14 nights. I think that is why there are not many short-term tourists but the price of these rooms helps make up for it. Thanks Samy!
If you don't take a direct flight, you can save 400 to 600 bucks. 2nd trick is 1 open jaw ticket. I never fly directly to Vietnam. I check prices of AirAsia and fly to BKK First. Or soul BKK. Try to check bargain flights and book from Chinese, Korean or vietnamese travel agencies. They do charge 50 to 70 usa dollars fees but they know tricks. Good luck.

Hey Samy, heading to Da Nang to live in January. We have a dog which we are "importing" with us and we want a beach view apartment either beach front OR one street back. Do you recommend any that may suit us?
@@socialsamy awesome. We are going to stay indefinitely (visa runs of course) but struggling to find a decent 2 bedroom apartment with ocean view that is dog friendly.
Do you really need your dog? If so you have issues. They are never quiet and will bother the other residents. It is not fair to a dog to keep it couped up in a small apartment.

Nowadays we don't often see the availability of many under $100/day hotel rooms that offer high end living and come with a stunning beach or city view.
@21:38 I would venture to guess that if you are paying all of that money for the penthouse, you might even have a private chef come to fix meals for you and any guests you might have.
