- Hey everyone!! I know it's been forever since I have posted anything. I am happy to say I am back again and this time with a very special project!!
my brand new song Crush On You!
FEARCITY is the executive producer of the song. His sound in my opinion is unmatched. It's the most tasteful, seedy, funky, sexy and 80's authentic combination out there. I was moved by his initial release "Crush On You"
(the instrumental) to write this song. FEAR trusted my taste, concept and enthusiasm to approach it as a pop record. The result was a song that inspired and excited us both beyond measure. We are so proud of this record and we are so very happy to share it with you!
FEAR and I both have a strong love and respect for Michael Jackson, Thriller and the 80's. It is both our favorite artist and era for music, pop culture and film.
This song and video is a love letter to Michael and everything else that inspired it from Thriller to The Lost Boys to Fright Night to countless others.
With all that said, we needed the film component to make it the full experience we had always envisioned.
The music video was Produced, Photographed, Written, Directed and Edited by
Jimi James.
Without his vision, passion and complete commitment to making this video possible, it just wouldn't have happened. Jimi is a true professional in every sense and the most promising director I've had the chance to work with. This video is his creation, and it brought the song and story to life in a way I never thought could happen. You're the BEST Jimi!
I'd like to thank Sierha Royer and Trenton Day for their killer performances in this video.
Sierha was so professional on set and what she did with the character of Jenny was everything and MORE than what I had hoped for. She is beautiful inside and out and has endless potential.
It was an all hands on deck labor of love to get the production to the finish line, and Trenton stepped up to help. Not to mention he absolutely killed his part as (my favorite character) "The Boy Next Door"!
