There is only two girls that has the best voices from the 90's. And it's Nina Persson from The Cardigans and Jennifer Paige because their voices are really unique and the most beautiful voices ever heard in my life in my opinion.
No, it wouldn’t even be on the charts because millennials and Gen Z people don’t appreciate masterpieces like this. It would be number for months if someone made a stupid house remix of this, though, and none of them would remotely stumble upon the idea that it’s a cover.
@@danielet.7527it literally was released when Millennials were teens and Pre-teens...we literally were jamming to it and had it on the charts.... so TRY AGAIN. Lol smh 😂😂😂

There's something extremely fascinating and alluring about this song (and video). I think I first listened to it in 2001 and I never stopped ever since.
Such a great song. I am a girl who mainly listens to R&B, but this song is a classic! I've loved this song since I was a kid. And as I grew up I came to appreciate how well Jennifer can really sing!
I remember when this song originally released. I was 14 and it had major radio air time back in 98. Kinda wished she had a longer career in the music industry but unfortunately she was more of a one hit wonder. Still awesome to hear after all these years.
Chris J Who was eclipsing female pop back then? Look what happed when Trey Songz came out.....male RNB singers careers were stunted, and he led for like 4 years. Wasn’t Britney crowning around this time?? I’m just saying it may have had more to do with her competition around that time.
@@rikindanger1079 actually I believe Paige's issue was more of bad timing due to something else. She released her sophomore album September 18, 2001; and it's common knowledge of what happened at that time. Most entertainment releases flopped right after 9/11...especially US releases...

🤣🤣🤣😂😂 must be one of your good memories..
catherine Morrison was he painting the house? Haha adorable. Or a painting? Would love some answers
@John MacArthur 😂
This is the most wholesome thing I’ve ever read.
@John MacArthur 💀💀💀😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
I walked into this playing today (1-10-24) in one of my liquor store accounts, Man does this bring back memories and make me feel like I’m in my 20s
90's early 2000 had the best pop music🙌🏻
actually the 80s do but i agree it was good too :)
80s > 90s > anything else
maybe b'cos the age? as we grew old, too busy with life
Hilary you are so right.
Hilary I miss the innocence of it. Pop stars used to dress and sing things we could sing out loud along with it.
One of the most PERFECT pop songs ever written or recorded. From the style to the hook.
Damn, that is a beautiful woman.
The most Sensually PERFECT Female Voice I've Ever Heard...
jennifer beat all of them leann rimes christina aguilera what ever
There is only two girls that has the best voices from the 90's. And it's Nina Persson from The Cardigans and Jennifer Paige because their voices are really unique and the most beautiful voices ever heard in my life in my opinion.
As a full grown man who listens to metal, this song is the shit‼️
January 8, 2021, just suddenly got the urge to seached this up again, and play on repeat idk why 💋
Because it is a very well constructed Pop Song...
It's the memories of the good ol days
Me too!! ❣❣❣❣
its been more than 15 yrs....i still have a crush on her
Doctorr Zeus she is beautiful
Nearly 20 yrs! April 1998 ;)
2021?
And I still love this song🎵😭
I woke at 1:06 this morning with this song in my head. Had forgotten all about it. Promptly added to music playlist.
Me too
My favorite line in the song is, "all I can commit to is maybe"! 💓
fosho
If this song came out on the music charts today, it would be number one for months. Such great lyrics combined with an amazing melody.
No, it wouldn’t even be on the charts because millennials and Gen Z people don’t appreciate masterpieces like this. It would be number for months if someone made a stupid house remix of this, though, and none of them would remotely stumble upon the idea that it’s a cover.
Britney and christina got in the way when this song was released
@@danielet.7527it literally was released when Millennials were teens and Pre-teens...we literally were jamming to it and had it on the charts.... so TRY AGAIN. Lol smh 😂😂😂
@@ibcrazysoufboi Yeah I loved it when I was 16, lol.
It wouldn't be number one on the charts because there's no lyrics in it about f***ing or having a wet p***y or s***ing d***. Jesus, you can't even type the words on youtube that the songs are about these days.
Honestly I don't what people think. Personally I feel like this is one of the best pop songs ever written and produced.
I know what you mean, but some people don't remember Jennifer Paige. Most People remember Britney, Christina, N'Sync or Backstreet Boys as pop music artists back in 90's.
@CAÍN Y ABEL some people don't enjoy classic stuff. i also think this is one of the greatest pop songs ever written, there's something bewitching about it
I agree
Great song!
I've always liked this song, but had forgotten it over the years (not a song I would want to have forgotten). I'm glad to have found it & listen to it again!
Wow, she's gorgeous.
So are you Hermosa.
jermaine davis amg, thank you! ;~;
Holly H LIKE!
Holly H I'd only heard it on the radio so didn't know what she looked like, had her down as a brunette not blonde in my mind's eye.
Holly H You think they would get an ugly bitch to sing this song?
There's something extremely fascinating and alluring about this song (and video).
I think I first listened to it in 2001 and I never stopped ever since.
I was looking for this song! OMG
For some it means nothing, but for me it means alot. 98 best year of my lifetime.
it was the worst year of my life...it was when I was born
+Izzy Suber Don't say that.
My life sucks though
omg me tooo!!!!
In my life too!
Love this song and Jennifer Paige!! Brings me back to my teenage years in the amazing 90's. Glad she is making a comeback. ♥️
Every now and then I’m in the mood for this song. Such a classic ❤️
Love this song, her voice it's so catchy i want to hear a Dua Lipa version it will be amazing
I always thought she'd come back with another hit but she gave us gold with this one song, thank you💜😊
@@patricew.4010 it was 100% because Britney and teen pop took over! The issue is everyone tried modelling their artists off her shortly after this.
@@rikindanger1079 actually I believe Paige's issue was more of bad timing due to something else. She released her sophomore album September 18, 2001; and it's common knowledge of what happened at that time. Most entertainment releases flopped right after 9/11...especially US releases...
I was 16
I have no clue why, Jan '21 is the first time that I realized that this song is off the hook 💯🎶👌🏽 I've been listening to it my whole life...What a hit!!! You don't hear music like this anymore
Very true...
I'm glad they put it in the radio
Here we are, 4/4/24
Perfect lyrics
Perfect baseline
Perfect vocals
To be expected from that era.
I was about 12 when I heard this song...I'm 35 now.. this song was the epitome of puppy love and fantasizing about girls and relationships for me. Absolutely love this song. It was a major influence in my younger years involving love and relationships. Absolutely love her.
Im same age, i haven't listened to it in so long. Been blasting loud for a week straight.
Dude, spot on. Puppy love for dayz.!!!!
And this track always brought on warm and fuzzy feels.!!! Life was great back then.
Also, go the 87's
On point.
Back when music taught girls more than shaking ass and showing tits.... We NEED this today
And no dirty words or skanky behavior needed either! Miss this kind of music!
Don’t worry…you re not the only one who listening this masterpiece in Novemver 2021
Woke up with this song in my head. Not even the typical genre I listen to, but can't deny it's top tier
Aynen
Not even sure why such songs are not made anymore. Glad Elton John tried something with Cold heart. This is such a gem, heard it once and got hooked on loop!
great I Thought that I was alone here
When a person turns your world upside down and your to make the move.
Love this song saw Jennifer page today at sea world. She still have a beautiful voice a very sweet person. I also took a picture with her.great concert 🎶 😊
Love this song. That bass is so addictive. Timeless ❤
I was always PERPLEXED by how awesomely well made this song was. She's so beautiful, she has SUCH a good singing voice, the lyrics are mindblowing, and the songs puzzle pieces all fit well together. Mind baffling and Mind boggling at the same time. Im in AWE of this song.
YEAH
The market was flooded with Brittney, Christina, and Jessica. Sprinkle in Pink and Janet Jackson and your treading deep water.
Very good video.
One of the most iconic Pop songs of all time. Jennifer Paige still waiting for your comeback.
someone bring back the 90s 😊
hang on a minute.
+owenivor lmaoo

+Kim Martin I agree with you .. best generation , wish I could also go back to that age 😂😂😂

🖐
🤷🏾♀️
Love from India.
😃
👍👍👍👍👍
This tune is the definition of happiness. If someone ask you what's happiness you just have to play this song for him. Unlike other happy tunes, this one has some special positive vibes. I suggest you should be listening this tune on a rainy cold day and you'll know what I'm talking about.
gaaaayyy
Did you listen to the song?
nice, a timeless song
using that term "timeless" VERY loosely here I see.
@@Manzebra21 your opinion
Such a simple song with a simple message and a simple concept, and it's just timeless.
I was 22 and in Grad school and this song was a constant on my CD player as well as parties; good times.
Such a great song.
One of those songs I didn’t really listen to specifically when I was younger, but heard it around. And now that I’m older and think about the era, this song has more relevance. Love it!
you appreciate it when you get older
same
Congratulations, if you're reading this comment it means you have great musical taste.
Lol...yes I do. Sorry Miley Circus and the rest, go away!! 😎
@@michellesood4419 yes totally right
Évidemment !
AGREE 💯%
Absolutely wonderful song. The 90's was the best era for great songs.
There is a scene in the new Resident Evil movie which is set in 1998 where this is played and it is HILARIOUS.
SPOILER
when Leon sleeps with his headphones on while the truck arrives to smash everything and explode 😂😂😂😂
I actually came from that movie 😂
They don't make music like this these days. Real shame
Yes I agree this type of music brings me back to the 90s when I was a kid ahh good memories
Ikr. At first I thought she was saying shuuut uuuppp. but she was saying sha lalalalaaa

Martha Carig got that right music these days are a joke
Damien Hargrove

shania twain - you're still the one
savage garden - truly madly deeply
backstreet boys - everybody
paula cole - i don't want to wait
aerosmith - i don't wanna miss a thing
jennifer paige - crush
backstreet boys - quit playing games
ricky martin - la copa de la vida
jewel - foolish game
the verve - bitter sweet symphony
the corrs - what can i do
boyzone - i love the way you love me
the moffatts - girl of my dreams
marc anthony & tina arena - i want to spend my lifetime loving you
1998 was the golden year of music
Amen! Wow I was 8 but music was totally my thang! Brings back such fun memories!
Oh yeah 1998 was awesome for music..although I was 7 or 8 years old but my sister used to watch Mtv all day long..and this song was on Mtv a lot! Really miss those days.
My highschool days... i love everything about those days.....
Solo quitaría ricky Martin, las demás canciones geniales.
John Jalas not in the same league, their songs were just cool back then
damn! lost bandle to this!!
Still loving it in 2016!
Remember being a kid hearing this on basf cassette tape and then running around home yelling out "crush-ah-crush-ah" knowing only a few words in english. Now I am a proud US citizen and still love that little "crush" feeling!
One of those one hit wonder songs you never stop thinking about ❤️ 90s vibes
❤👍
Yes pity she never made more music
the 💜 wants what it wants 🖤 💙 Prove music isn't a drug or that there is no heaven
I am 30 years old.. i knew i heard this song at some point in my childhood. I woke up to this song in my head this morning
I passed out in a truck stop bathroom. When I woke up the tune of pain and tears was loud.
I was 12 and obsessed when this came out. Then I was 20 on the college ballroom dance team and this came on during Cha Cha comps. Now I'm bout to hit 39 and it still hits just the same. THANK YOU JENNIFER!
That's a killer, million dollar chorus.
Has that classic 70s feel.
