I actually like when he show people pictures bc give me an idea of who was living in that house, I don't think he's doing anything wrong, people who were living there left their pictures there obviously they didn't care either. I love his videos, Good job!!!

He is truly documenting the past as you can tell no one lives in there. Also, it's a risk he's willing to take 🤷♀️ you can't control if he's going to go exploring or not
It will be funny one day if this guy....or someone like him goes into an "abandoned" house.....finds a body and then when they turn around to hightail it out of there, they find a Michael Myers type standing behind them with a big knife. But then it would also be funny if they were videoing out a front window and just happen to see a police car pull up and Cops wanting to know WTF they think they are doing there.
Doesn't matter, the property is still owned by another and unless the "EXPLORER" has either oral or written permission to enter said property, it is TRESPASSING and is illegal. In Oklahoma illegally entering a house like that can get you legally shot. It's called the "Castle Protection Law". Whether the house is vacant or lived in, the property owner has the legal right to shoot the trespasser if their 'IN' the home/dwelling...........trust me I have an excellent scope on my 30/30. We don't take kind to property trespassers here, especially if there is also Livestock on the property.
@@JeffreyStrader the castle law just allows you to defend yourself in your own property if there is an intruder and you think they will cause bodily harm. It is not a free pass to shoot just because someone entered. And it’s habitable property…

Hi, very interesting, thanks! To add to the previous comments, yes a lot of stuff but old disused buildings are perfect for putting things that aren't quite ready to take to the dump. For example: after a flood or tornado there are things people find and need to put somewhere. It isn't their stuff so they don't want to throw it out. I love abandoned houses. Found about 15 of them in the past 2 years, and one thing i have noticed about a lot of them is that there is often a lot of crap on the stairs, for some reason.
As a wordworker, the sight of disintegrating books & old typewriters saddens me. I wish they had a home where folks could use/read them, but by now, they've prob permanently absorbed the wonderful poo-palace stench. I felt for ya trying to navigate those stairs; actually caught myself covering my nose for a moment, there.
Sad that I have a house I've owned for the past 13 yes. I'm mostly there when it's warm. It's been broken into 5 times. Creatures who haven't learn that what is somebody else's stuff is not there's just because no one is around. Michigan mentally.
The old keyboard/printer is an old 1980s, I think, typewriter. It could be 1990's. I remember using one of those in High School in 1989. Me and a friend went into an abandoned house that looked like it was decorated in the 40s or 50s. It wasn't cluttered like this one, actuality pretty clean. No power to the house, but after being in there for a while a record player turned on and was playing old music. Scared the hell out of us,we ran like little bitches.
If you want to find out about the house, go to the county courthouse with the address and find out the owner's name if they'll give it? And you can find out about back taxes or maybe they're just up-to-date on the taxes, if they're not you have a chance to pay the taxes and own the house for yourself. When I was a kid, I was checking out an old house it looked real bad, roof all caved in front porch falling off and what not, but to my surprise there was an old lady living in there scared the hell out of me! So beware there might be some smelly old fart in there who blow your head off!!!
Those old cash registers are gorgeous! I hope the owner of this house contacts someone to clear out the house and throw a yard sale or something. There is some good stuff in there. Damn shame!
This is definitely private property and he Made a illegal entry The cops would even have to have a warrant before they went into this place Sad state Will not be part of this will not watch it🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Yeah, been in a hoarder's house. One had hundreds of pound of copper in the attic. Over $1000 salvage value. I you find one that is an estate sale, many valuable items can be found.
I said at the beginning "Can you say 'hoarder' ?" I also said near the end : "Ewwww !!! Where's the disinfectant at?!" when you went upstairs ! LOL!!! Love your channel - new subscriber, here - hope you're still exploring for us ! TY !
Hey, so for future knowledge... Cash registers, especially of that type, have a drawer release switch underneath the register, usually in a hole in the bottom casing... you stick your finger in... generally on the right side... and you'll feel a lever... cheers
You found a potential gold mine mate, hope you had time to open that CA$H regi$ter 😆 and gone through all the boxes, don't deprive yourself of a potential fortune bro
With a cash register you can open the drawer by tripping the emergency release underneath it. There's a hole underneath and if you put your finger in there you can push a spring loaded lever and that will release the drawer.
I'm surprised you actually met the person who admitted to filling up the place and just left. Pretty rare when an urban explorer actually finds and interacts with the very person who last vacated an old abandoned house which they would later explore.
I wouldn't call the place so much of a pickers paradise- there is some money in there but no really big ticket items that I can tell from the video. But you never know until you dig through everything! Looks like some hoarders lived in there...
I'd like to see book covers and magazines, etc., long enough to read titles, look at covers / photos for just a few seconds longer. Obviously, you don't have too much time, but video felt a little rushed. Good job overall.
I spied a few old things that could have been saved... It's a shame kids don't play much with dolls anymore... I don't see anything wrong with looking; it's all open to the elements and rotting anyway.
This looks like a hoarders house and they were more than likely fairly old and had health problems and they were probably forcibly removed because they weren't capable of caring for themselves. The county will send a Social worker out to a property and if it's a health hazard for the elderly person they will legally force that person into going to a care facility. This is a typical ''hoarder's'' house, nothing is placed that makes sense, trash is mixed in with other more valuable items, everything is in disarray with more and more stuff stacked on top of other stuff. I have a brother who's a hoarder currently he is ''homeless'' but works odd jobs to pay for six (6) storage rooms filled with stuff just like this. It is a mental illness. Every where he's lived he's filled it with items just like this and is eventually asked to leave or has been forced to leave because of his hoarding.

It bothers me when people just walk into a house that does not belong to them. It is one thing if you have permission by the owner, but if you have to climb in through a window then record what you are seeing to get views on TH-cam it is pathetic! I get it might be entertainment for people but come on, really? When I was 11 we moved out of our home, but never sold it. I am almost 15 now and our home has been broken into over 20 times. We have tried everything to move back in but we can't because every time we get everything clean up it gets broken into again. The fact that people feel like it is ok for them to walk into a private property just bothers me.
Yeah, this dude is like, "We're in!" So, I would consider that as breaking and entering. That is illegal as is trespass. Then the title, "Pickers Paradise". I don't really think you have any business "picking" anything if it is not your property. As someone who lives in a rural area, I am sick and tired of people who break into a place and make themselves to home. Even if they didn't "break" in , say the door's unlocked. IT IS NOT YOUR HOUSE!
It would be very interesting to catalogue all the stuff in places like these and mansions and auction off all the stuff and raise money for charities. If no families can be found.
