As a man who's known, befriended and loved like brothers what the world would label "violent men" I can attest that in my experience very little violence occurs in a vacuum. It's so fundamental to all of our humanties to really try and understand every human being as a human being. There are, ninty-nine percent of time, reasons why we as humans do things, or react the way they do and when we as a species lose sight of that; we create things like the prison industrial complex and become far less than animals.
