@@PhysxGod in comparison to the reliability and speed at which I am seeing other robots and ours handle hatches I think that at the higher levels this hatch design would have trouble keeping up.
@@PhysxGod I am referring to how long it takes to align and release a hatch. It is also not the most secure. Not saying it is a bad design. But like you said, It is just fine. At worlds fine is ruled out pretty quickly.
The Poofs robot was a big part of our inspiration this year. And yes, you're correct, no active targeting yet on Phantom for scoring, so all of that in the video was driver training. We are aware and working on a solid Hatch Panel retention as well as the floor pick up and HAB level 2 climb.
At this point it's a matter of how well the drivers can compete because all these robots are badass.

bit late but haha there you go :)
How does your hatch grabbing mechanism work?
Interesting robot. Was it designed to only place the top hatch 1/2 on just to make it faster? Or did you find out the lift can't go that high
Thanks. We had a lot of fun working on it. By design, no need to go the extra height.
There’s not enough Clippard
Awesome
I think you guys may end up struggling with hatches, your cargo manipulator is flawless though.
their hatch mech is fine

@@nathanskinner423 it's a fine design I'm not sure what ur referring to? Is it the part where they take it off and the hatch shakes a bit?

@@nathanskinner423 I think that's not really a mech issue that's limiting them that's programming, something that could vastly improve B4 competition
Wow
MMMMMMMM.... That machining is beautiful, and the design is well executed! The song’s a bit odd though...
