You think at the end of ACT 3, you get through to the bottom of hell and then hell goes empty? Then V1 runs out of blood since there's nothing else to kill, eventually losing his energy as hell falls silent.
This art goes so hard. The way the demon hands are ugly and jagged while v1 is sleek and simple really shows how v1 is not from here and is instead invading it.

I unironically tear up listening to this. The absolute ride this track takes you is unrivaled, I've genuinely never heard anything like it before. 2:35 It just keeps going with the rage and carnage to then amp up at 3:00 with the most enjoyable, regretless riffs my ears have captured. Only to then step back with the requiem motif at what's been done, but not suddenly shift into a remorseful tone, but instead to pick back up and keep going while never truly letting up. Videogame music is awesome man. I might actually end up writing an essay on why this single track is one of my favorites of all of my time of Earth.
I usually have this ''happy'' feeling listening to 1:29-1:53, it evokes this feeling that I can't descrime but I will try my best: It gives me this odd feeling that there's still some ''hope'' left. I honestly love this song, had to add it to my playlist. I 101% agree this is the best song in the game.

Well, this game is supposed to be based on the "Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri (hence why we have so many hell explorers called Dante in today's pop-culture). "Inferno" is the tome 1, and at the end, the protagonist (which is Dante himself, since the guy didn't even bother hiding that he was writing a self-insert fanfic, lol) does climb back out of Hell. Then he goes on to tour Purgatory in the Tome 2 ("Purgatorio") and the Heaven in the Tome 3 ("Paradiso"). So, if we do get a sequel, you know what's in store for us now :) .
Something i noticed out of every song in ultrakill is that you have a overarching melody which is a seperate piece layed over a constant drum riff. I think symbolically its supposed to repersent each landscape and its story coming into the ceaselessly murdering machine. Listen to every song i promise its there
after the 3rd act, and all the life in hell is gone because v1 killed them all, Hakita is either gonna end it there, or v1 is gonna go up to heaven and kill everything there.
