INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS Farewell 2014 | Final Southampton Departure

Since 2008, Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas has called Southampton its summer home.
1st November 2014 was the ships final visit to the port for the foreseeable future. She will be based in America year round. Anthem of the Seas will replace Independence in Southampton.
This video documents the preparations of her departure as well as the ship leaving for the very last time.

I am embarrassed to day that I have sailed on the lovely Independence over 15 times, I will miss her so much, some amazing times have been had on board, visited some wonderful places, made some great friends, don't worry she will be back one day !... thanks for uploading great video

I was on Indy 4 weeks ago fab ship sorry to see go back to the USA hope she comes back been on her many times going on the anthem next year whent on her in 2015 looking forward being back on her
