Part 2 1978 VW T2 Camper Bus -Gas Tank Removal & sealing - engine & transmission hookup

- This video documents me cleaning and sealing a 1978 VW Gas tank. The gas tank started leaking so I removed the tank to identify the leak. After wire brushing the tank, I found two small holes. I used JB Weld Steel Stick to seal the holes and Eastman products for the gas tank sealing. I installed a new sending unit then reinstalled the tank, engine and transmission. I focused on the wires, the hoses, the gas lines and tried to explain as we went. I skipped over the engine install, it is the removal process backwards and you can see that process in my Part 1 video. I hope you find this video helpful!

You destroyed two screws you missed taking the fire guard off.
Watching that firewall removal was extremely painful. He started bending the shit out of it when he didn't see the tab! Im sure Im no better though!!
I never knew there were 2 other screws until I watched another video recently! I was wondering if he would catch the 2 screws underneath
I am also very happy and grateful that I found this video. very interesting and instructive when cable by cable goes through and what all the components are and its function. I think many people who have a bus with 2L fuel injection can benefit greatly from this.👍🙏
