Diddy is a monster.. he didn’t let Donnie out his contract, wow.. he said the same to Danity Kane. He was like” There will be a Danity Kane though “ .. so he took dawn bc he knew the girls would try to Reunite after the show ended.. then they have their own issues and once they got back together the momentum had died. I do believe if Aundrea didn’t quit, and dawn didn’t punched Aubrey other labels would’ve picked up Danity Kane.
I'm glad he confirmed something I felt...which was "dude" falling out with the producer "Seven" the second I heard the version of "Dr. Love" because the version played on the MTB was a better version than the album ver
That “Just a Rolling Stone” title was HORRIBLE lol. I remember thinking wha the hell is this supposed to mean? It did feel like they kinda threw it out there just to see what it would do.
He could’ve been as big as Day26 and Danity Kane, feel like Diddy did him dirty and used him for ratings. But he definitely could’ve been a big star, he wasn’t marketed right at all
So true. Like the episode where Diddy told Donnie all of the hustling that he needed to do. I remember thinking, isn't that your job as his record company? You're Diddy; all you have to do is make a phone call and have Donnie open for you or one of your other artists. And then for Bad Boy to tell Donnie that they had no intentions of putting out a second album for him but refused to let him out of his contract so that he could be picked up by another label. What an ass.
Day 26 was the biggest! I can't see Donnie being bigger than them, even individually. Day 26 are incredible at hustling their gift. Donnie is good to tho.
I'm glad he's well off right now. I thought it was messed up how him and Day 26 were handled. He thought he was going to be living his dreams, and it didn't work out that way.
You know he thought he was beyond cool with the crooked headset, the keyboard, the lamp, the laptop. Handsome dude, but nowhere near solo artist potential...
his vocals were not on the level of the dudes from Day 26, but they were good enough to work with and i think along with his looks, he’s just very charming and likeable, so that made him a good artist too.
