Hilarious to see Corrado slurping Marner so hard who has failed for nearly a decade in the playoffs and then he goes on to destroy Petterson who has had one bad playoffs. It's ok if you fail in the playoffs as long as you're buddies with Frankie.
Honestly ever time I see anything about this list I just can’t believe some of the guys they have up high with way better players below them, no leaf’s in top 30 except matthews if it’s objective
A reminder that having a player who gets 100 points and doesn't preform in the playoffs is a huge net negative on a team. They would be a better team if they cut him for nothing and signed players with the cap room who could preform in the playoffs, let alone trade him for a star/good players who do produce in the playoffs
A agree that hellybuck determines the outcome of the jets whole team. But I disagree that it’s his fault they lost. He’s a great goalie, and the position or player that carries the load for the team should change from game to game, as it won’t always be an equal effort from every team member. So pinning an entire playoff run and season on him is not fair expectations, even if he is capable of achieving them but didn’t.
Honestly who cares, they are both awesome 😎👍, Just like Mathews should be 1st on the list above McDavid in my opinion, as Mathews is a much better goal scorer by far. Just like Mario was much better then Gretzky stats aside. 🥂
I don't think Marner is even a legit NHL pro. I say this because the guy has so much time in space in regular season to create plays....teams are soft on him. For 7 years he is does very little in playoffs bc teams actually play him hard. That 1 goal he scored in front while he was on his knee was produced bc the Bos dman just didn't move on the play. Watch the replay. When teams actually show up to play Marner looks bad. At 10-11 million....Leafs are a joke of a franshise. Nylander is even a better player then Matthews as an all round player. I prefer clutch players. I dont care if a guy scores 40 and another guy scores 60. Thats not what I look for in an athlete.
