Egypt isn’t my area of expertise as an archaeologist, but videos like this always inspire me to expand my research interests. Thank you for your great work Luke 🤘
Thank you so much for showing me sites and places off the beaten path that you just cant find in any other Egypt exploring videos! Love your content Luke, keep it up.
17:54 amazing ! These carved out portals or gateways for prayer and offerings resemble so many other places in the world, South America, India, China, Even though out the Mederteranian ! 19:29 Fantastic Method for the sillowets ! 21:21 that light in the shadows resembles a Bird ! 23:09 Yes, agreed 🪷 👍 they seen so passionate in the reliefs , like this one ! 25:19 the crack in the stone looks like a block thats blocking an area ! 27:08 more of these relief portals with access to passageways under them !? Interesting 🤔 They were so good at hiding the entrances and passageways right in front our underneath something that looks like a normal room ! Some massive in consideration ! The portal relefs seem to be an indicator for some of the sealed up sections of other Family Chambers ! The tunnel beneath the small set of stairs for example , is brilliant ! There is most likely more tunnels and chambers still undetected in this area ! It's absolutely fascinating ! Thank You Guys for bringing us along to this Ancient Historical Place !
One is struck by the fact that this sort of hands-on exploration is no longer possible in the First World. The number of laws that this random outing would have run afoul of in America staggers the imagination. It is refreshing to see such an 'unvarnished' interaction with the environment being studied. It brings to mind echoes of archaeology's 'golden age'.
