- In this video I will show you how to check relay and what is a relay and how relay works or relay working in urdu/hindi language.
Relay is a magnetic switch therefore we can called any relay electromagnetic relay and an electromagnetic relay working principal is magnetism.
So in this video I use a power relay which is a SPDT switch for explanation and practically show relay how it works.
There are many types of relay like with respect to poles spdt relay (single pole double throw relay) dpdt relay control relay and with respect to operational voltage 12v relay and 5v relay and with respect to supply ac relay and dc relay.
Electrical relay is also works as a two way switch switch technology is that switch a circuit means ON or OFF but 2 way switch is a manually switch but the relay is a magnetic coil operated two way switch which has normally open and normally closed contacts.
There are also available a time dependent relay or time delay relay which are timer relay used for time dependent switching.
So after watching this complete video you will be able to understand how to test a relay with a multimeter and where it used for.
