Just started playing BL3 a few weeks ago to prep for Tiny Tina's Wonderland .. got to lvl 72 pretty quickly and have been using your guides exclusively for what to target for endgame content. Thank you!
I have never seen the beam from a Complex Root from real far away and not hitting anything before this video... I think its actually a fractal generator... it goes way out and makes 3 spokes off the main beam, and those make smaller beams with 3 spokes and on forever, it seems. Neat. I guess it breaks off into angles when it hits things so it just looks like a bunch of lines when fired into a crowd but if it hits nothing, it makes the root of whats gonna be a complex fractal graph.
Kaoson is a MONSTER! Nice video, love them! I do have a fully auto X2 variant, 2 actually. I get the Hellwalker from Graveward..a dime a dozen from him. I really like Flipper too, was a great movie, but the gun is way better! Now i need to get a LVL 72 Crit. Kudos on your videos...i personally know how much work/time it takes and truly appreciate the work you put into them!
Really surprised not to see the Lucky 7. It drops 50% of the time from Scraptrap Prime, you don't have to save/quit between attempts and when you have the right rolls it becomes one of the best weapons on the game. It's also really easy to avoid reloading since Terror ammo regen can now be rerolled onto any shield / grenade whenever you like.
I just wish they show the rolls after reloading, aiming down sights or something like that. Oh wait you didnt see if that was 5 or 7? Better go for another roll because you didnt see the 7 pellets. *Reloads* Kek, that was a 7 idiot, now here, have explosive rounds.

I'd be interested to see a 10 Hardest Items to Farm video. I went after the Void Rift yesterday and despite the Empowered Grawn having a 15% chance to drop, the length of the fight made getting a single one take about 3 hours. Then there's things like trying to get a specific Smog. The gun itself drops 25% of the time from Scourge and each element has an 8.2% chance. In other words, you have a 2.05% chance of getting, say, an incendiary Smog and each run takes around 45 minutes to an hour for your average player. Finally, perhaps the worst I'm aware of, are the original Bloody Harvest cosmetics. They were replaced last year with new ones, but each one has (I think) a 2% chance of dropping from Captain Haunt. Then for each run you have to farm new ghost goo and run through Heck again. Getting a specific one would take forever.
The most easier is the Butcher imo. You just have to farm several lootgrams in any mayhem level (or no mayhem), then switch to level 10 in sanctuary and you have a high chance to get one.
Unless the crit drops from your hands near a ledge over the void, in which case all you can do is wave it goodbye xD I really enjoyed the video. it was very helpful, thanks
The Traunt family got a buff!!! They are now as strong as raid boss until November 4th. I tried farming the Kaoson and I just gave up because it took too long to kill Captain Traunt.
Yea I forgot about that yesterday and after about 40 minutes and only taking away a quarter of his shield I decided it wasn't worth it. I'm not opposed to long fights if I'm just looping damage chains but when it would take 2+ hours im obviously just not ready for that battle yet haha
Not sure if this is accurate, but with the Kaoson on Fl4k, does megavore/fade away allow both the initial hit and explosion to crit? If so it's an efficient option for StackBot
Im not sure whether it is different for PC and PS4/5, but the complex root used tk be a much bigger aoe on playstation. To get it doing real damge for me it is an absolute necessity to have increased splash radius on the class mod as well as increased aoe damage (effects range as well) to even hit enemies with the extra projectiles. I can down myself with moze, but without the artifact and class mod bonuses im taking several rounds to kill things that arent even badasses.

There was an issue for abt 2-3 weeks after a patch a while back ..... But it has since been fixed. With the right set up that thing melts and keeps the Pearl going strong
I must have had the worst 16.5% chance in the world for the Katagawa Jr. Fight. I fought him over 50 times and ended up with just 3 Sand Hawks (but 3 different elements, at least-- rad, cryo, and fire). As I was on M11 and with my character's drop boosts, the drop rate should have been even higher than 16.5%, meaning I should have seen over 8 different drops, in the aggregate. I feel like 2K is just making up their drop numbers, as they never seem to agree with the theoretical limits
Dedicated drops can't be boosted. Also the "Luck" Stat was broken at launch and was never fixed so it's quite literally useless. The schlooter and diamond butt milk only boost world drops.
Just bad luck though, it's 16.5% every time you kill him so even if you kill him 6+ times you still might not get one. Also you can't boost dedicated drop chances only world drops.

I'm pretty sure a recent patch in the past few months glitched it out of their lootpool. You may only be able to get it out of the diamond key room now
I hope they nerfed that sniper rifle. Thats just too much damage for 1 class. #1 should be nerfed too. That weapon shouldnt be allowed in bl3 ever. Its just too ugly.
Pro tip: Maybe avoid farming Captain Traunt for a Kaoson until his health drops below 42 billion next week.

Yeah, the flipper is one of the easiest weapons to farm, but one of the best weapons in the game
For me it's the Stalker from Captain Haunt (love that sniper) and the hellshock. I got 4 world drops in one playthough.
Flaker was a life saver in the arms race where I got 2 plasma coils from thw same chest. Survival wasn't good until I got it for that run.

What settings are you playing on? Stuff is just getting obliterated. I've never one shot a boss with anything!

the gun was used on amara, and i think i tried it on fl4k as well to the same effect.

idk if it was my luck but I killed kill a volt over 150 times and no monarch (this was on New Years)
Must have gone with the wrong New Year resolution. Most Borderlands players went with "Be better at farming Monarchs".
On MH11 i get a monarch about every 4th kill or so.
The issue I got is some drop too fucking easy..like the westerngun. for me its a pain int he ass to get the hellwalker

Tbf, it might just be easier to farm loot tinks in normal mode with the loot tinks on eden 6 (i think its the jakobs estate)
