This is extremely high quality stop motion, especially for it’s time. The expressions on the jedi were perfect, and the overall grievous fight scene was recreated perfectly.
For those who wish for the ARC trooper scene: While I do intend to finish the battle, please do not expect it anytime soon. I am currently VERY busy with school work and another upcoming project that looks to be a long term one (as in I MIGHT be ready to release on August 1st, 2015 *wink* *wink*), but stay tuned for more details on that, because its going to be a fun ride. Anyway, I appreciate the support, and I assure you, there is nothing more I want to do than to continue making films. The battle WILL be finished, just not for a while.
You did wonderful on this fan film please keep p them going I shall enjoy them always forever and the bulding Lagos are fun in fact I've got a few Lego video games I'll show these movies to a lot of friends great action.
Yeah, it's really a shame. I've seen a couple comments (especially on his other video) mention something about a rumored ARC Trooper film. I wonder if he deleted some videos? It's such a great stop motion, though. I really wish he'd return!
I remember watching this as a kid because I was such a big fan of Lego, Star Wars and General Grievous. And I haven't even watched the original scene. Now 8 Years later I'm coming back and this is pure nostalgia.
They really need to make a better General Grievous minifigure. The first one was good but the arms didn't have enough range of movement. The second is a bit more movie accurate, but it pulls off the four arm look worse than its predecessor.
HORRIOR The legs and details on the new one are so much better. But I wish that somehow they had the arm system of the first one with the detail of the new one.
This was quite badass yes...every character had a good story line, even Anakin who is not exactly the sharpest knife of the box, to say the least. The simple fact they managed to put Jar Jar into a locked closed is already heaven.
This Grevious is from another, sadly, universe, and had the fear and suprise tactics at hand, the TCW one doesnt, he doesnt get the opportunity to use them and has to fight with ranged attack enemies, at the end of this scene starts one where a group of ARC troopers surrounded him and a gunship personally came to kill him, he had to retreat, there was no point on risking that much
Surely inspiring Villain. After all here he was hard to take down... I also resent that in the Corruscant battle episode he doesn't kill Shaak-ti when he has her at hand...not because I dislike her character but because it's what a consistent badass Villain would do. Seriously who in their good sense would like to have THAT kind of enemy going back against you over and over again ? xd. Anyway, maybe his only tactical neuron fried down from the awesome effort of finally team-playing with his droids in order to seep unnoticed into the city's bunker...
That’s amazing! Honestly, I didn’t even know the name of that planet from the original clone wars but man that lightsaber fight made Grevious one heck of a fighter for a lightsaber collector.
I was genuinely surprised and impressed with the stopmotion and the effects. I have ridiculously high standards, but the strengths and flaws are nearly perfectly balanced. Good work.
Fantastic! This series was so much better than the new one. Back then, General Grevious could fight 6 Jedi with a victory. But now, he gets defeated by gungans with spears.
The Gungans didn’t even STAB him with any of the spears until General Tarpals caught Grievois off guard with his. The Gungans ALSO had those blue electrical orb things, which were extremely effective against Griveous since he’s more machine than organic.
She survives the battle in fact, even in the basic stories from Geonisys to the Order 66 and the rise of the Empire, her survival time is about 3 years in full war, with absolutely no self-preservation instinct when it comes to avenge teammates...not so bad.
I like it ;D The animation could be a little bit smoother but effects make whole movie look epic. I really like your custom animation methods for example when you animating Grievous. Anyway great job.
ohhh my goshh!! an awesome tribute dude! i love it! your greivous animation is epic, the sets and the epicness is as equal as the original series. instant fav and sub mate. :D
This is just too awesome! I've never seen anyone animate Grievous like that! The new figure is certainly more friendly towards animators. Watching this film alone convinced me to get the new wheel bike set.
this is actually a very impressive stop motion great job. I think the 2003 clone wars is the best star wars media put out and you captured one of the coolest fights greatly
The editing is a little choppy & unrefined, but all in all, this is a very solid & well-done brickfilm. The audio was ported well & the sets/backdrops are spot on. Plus this is an adaptation of the superior Clone Wars series.
couple inaccuracies: 1 that should be an Acclimator, not a Venator, 2 Obi-Wan was not yet a master during the battle of Hypori, he should have long hair. other than that, it was pretty good.
Only ONE thing is missing: Using a Lego Shaggy minifig head for the Padawan Shaggy. The rest is PERFECT.
+SigmaXVirus omg he totally is shaggy
I always thought he looked like him too
also get rid of the 47 second intro
It never came out at the time
+Big Bad Dawg 2:07 MY LEG
This is extremely high quality stop motion, especially for it’s time. The expressions on the jedi were perfect, and the overall grievous fight scene was recreated perfectly.
Damn, you should've continued into the ARC rescue... That would've been amazing to see.
+JMM Productions - Joshua Maharaj Maybe he didn't have the ARC troopers or something.
stop clone army customs makes them but they are real pricey
JMM Productions he probs didn’t have many clones
Alle other person already made it
@@thealt8038 just copy past
This is............actually very well made, good job!
Especially with the facial expressions and their dialogue.
I know right
For those who wish for the ARC trooper scene:

So I’m assuming that’s not happening... RIP. This is one of the best LEGO Star Wars Stop Motions ever
Cheese Weasel Maybe if he got sponsored by CAC for the arc scene, it could happen.
Gojirawars 03 not even close
Yeah guess it's not happening what a shame this was amazing, and I wish he had done more.
You did wonderful on this fan film please keep p them going I shall enjoy them always forever and the bulding Lagos are fun in fact I've got a few Lego video games I'll show these movies to a lot of friends great action.
One of my favorite scenes starts at 4:58.
Grievous totally crushed that guy's head! I feel like I need to watch this 2d animation series now.
Aww that hurt
Wow... I cant believe how accurate General Grievous movements are!

Yeah, it's really a shame. I've seen a couple comments (especially on his other video) mention something about a rumored ARC Trooper film. I wonder if he deleted some videos?
It's such a great stop motion, though. I really wish he'd return!
To this day I'm still amazed at how good this stopotion looks. this is probably ine of the best looking lego stop motion I've seen.
I remember watching this as a kid because I was such a big fan of Lego, Star Wars and General Grievous. And I haven't even watched the original scene. Now 8 Years later I'm coming back and this is pure nostalgia.
After 10 years this is still a great recreation, I love it!
This is one of the best stopmotions I’ve ever seen
Yay this is based on the 2003 clone wars series!
The Clone Wars that SHOULD'VE been canon!
+Grunter Boyee!! Lol that is SO true!
EDIT: I was but a child when I wrote this, now I am.. still kinda a child, I feel both should be canon.
Quite honestly, I still consider it canon. There is absolutely nothing in the original Clone Wars that does not fit into the 2008 Clone Wars.
Me too! Btw, this was a great video Nate! I still watch it and love it every time!
Natezilla Productions u replyed to me... kinda, you kinda replyed to the guy that replyed to me... =/

Great Effects and Animation, just wish this was shot with DragonFrame on a DSLR, would have made it perfect!
Thanks for the input. I will definitely look into this DragonFrame software…
(Also, HOLY SH*T. THE David Hall!)
What's Dragonframe?
Solid brix studios!!!!
Good point, but this was perfect, at least for me it was. Dragonframe would have made it hyperperfect hahaha!!!
C co ho
this is amazing never seensomthing from 10 years ago this perfect
This is a certified Lego stop motion classic
They really need to make a better General Grievous minifigure. The first one was good but the arms didn't have enough range of movement. The second is a bit more movie accurate, but it pulls off the four arm look worse than its predecessor.
HORRIOR The legs and details on the new one are so much better. But I wish that somehow they had the arm system of the first one with the detail of the new one.
Old Grievous had cape too. Something that the recent ones lack.
*lacks
HORRIOR you can put those little hand pieces and then put the arms on the little piece
The more recent one is also a bit too small.
Everything about this is amazing. I love the 2003 CW so I SERIOUSLY appreciate this.
This was quite badass yes...every character had a good story line, even Anakin who is not exactly the sharpest knife of the box, to say the least.
The simple fact they managed to put Jar Jar into a locked closed is already heaven.
Amazing remake of the original animation.
THIS is the Grevious I like, not the one who get defeated by Commander Cody and a few other clones with grappling hooks.
This Grevious is from another, sadly, universe, and had the fear and suprise tactics at hand, the TCW one doesnt, he doesnt get the opportunity to use them and has to fight with ranged attack enemies, at the end of this scene starts one where a group of ARC troopers surrounded him and a gunship personally came to kill him, he had to retreat, there was no point on risking that much
He was also injured by his chest being collapsed by Mace Windu.
Surely inspiring Villain. After all here he was hard to take down...
I also resent that in the Corruscant battle episode he doesn't kill Shaak-ti when he has her at hand...not because I dislike her character but because it's what a consistent badass Villain would do. Seriously who in their good sense would like to have THAT kind of enemy going back against you over and over again ? xd.
Anyway, maybe his only tactical neuron fried down from the awesome effort of finally team-playing with his droids in order to seep unnoticed into the city's bunker...
shut up
That’s amazing! Honestly, I didn’t even know the name of that planet from the original clone wars but man that lightsaber fight made Grevious one heck of a fighter for a lightsaber collector.
The only Jedi that are killed are the ones who weild a green lightsaber. Grievous is racist XD
+Garmagic2yFhenrakh9 So the Green sabers the new Red shirts?
wrong
tru! i never noticed
Nope one survives Jedi master kruhk who has survived a lot and survived order 66 and became part of Luke's new Jedi order as a grand master
+Luke Fearnley Not Canon
Bro just dropped the hardest Lego Star Wars stopmotion and just left
This has aged extremely well, well done
The fact that he made the Lego Clone Wars minifigure heads more expressive and fluid makes them less horrifying to look at
WOW! FANTASTIC animation!
I'm happy that a lot of guys including you make these Lego movies
A bit hit and miss when it comes to the animation, but MAN you have some good stuff here!
sweet!
awsome
I subbed u BrotherhoodWorkshop
It's hard to recreate such fast paced animation in stop motion.
BrotherhoodWorkshop ?ä
This was identical, BRAVO!!
I was genuinely surprised and impressed with the stopmotion and the effects. I have ridiculously high standards, but the strengths and flaws are nearly perfectly balanced. Good work.
Every frame, so accurate... Impressive!
Good video dude
BrickUltra wait brickultra? A lululla, a lulula, a lululoolalulalulula
I love how much work you put into this! Fantastic job!
Fantastic! This series was so much better than the new one. Back then, General Grevious could fight 6 Jedi with a victory. But now, he gets defeated by gungans with spears.
True. They made grevious look weak in the clone wars
People thought grevious was too overpowered and weakened him in the clone wars but I agree he is too weak now.
The perfect balancing of grievous was found in series 3 of clone wars. Shame that in the newer show they took away some of his credentials.
The Gungans didn’t even STAB him with any of the spears until General Tarpals caught Grievois off guard with his. The Gungans ALSO had those blue electrical orb things, which were extremely effective against Griveous since he’s more machine than organic.
@@Samfry523 Ontop of that he wasn’t even taking them seriously, so he was acting pretty arrogant.
wow this was amazing, great job man
Wow that was incredibly spot on.
Great job!
10 years after and this is still fucking good
AMAZING EDETING SKILLS!
4:07 I miss when I could pull off stunts like this.. brings me back.
That’s how often Shaak Ti dies in Star Wars
👇
She survives the battle in fact, even in the basic stories from Geonisys to the Order 66 and the rise of the Empire, her survival time is about 3 years in full war, with absolutely no self-preservation instinct when it comes to avenge teammates...not so bad.
Shaak Ti actually survived until Order 66.
Begger
Bro she lived
That description is enough to like this, then we get to the content and it slaps so hard
Shit, that didn’t go well
This is Amazing and definitely accurate to the Animated Version!
One of the first stop motions I’ve seen and it’s really amazing
I like it ;D The animation could be a little bit smoother but effects make whole movie look epic. I really like your custom animation methods for example when you animating Grievous. Anyway great job.
Your vídeos are epic
this is amazing for its time and still to this day is amazing .
Bro why is there godzillas 2001 theme at the start bro but mad respect bro that stop motion was great
I watched this 9 years after it was made…. HOW THE FUCK DOES IT HOLD UP, legit one of the best things I’ve ever watched it was amazing
4:26 was a nearly flawless reproduction of the scene im just saying
A flawless combination of th sheer awesomeness of Star Wars Clone Wars and the adorable cuteness of the Lego toys.
ohhh my goshh!! an awesome tribute dude! i love it! your greivous animation is epic, the sets and the epicness is as equal as the original series. instant fav and sub mate. :D
.
Holy crap , I love the faces!
^^
Это потрясающе, я видел это в своем детстве, почему мы, с современными технологиями не можем даже приблизиться к тому, что было 10 лет назад...
That was absolutely outstanding! I can't imagine how much time and effort went into this. You captured it so well compared to the original.
I'm really late but I couldnt not comment this video. It is such a nice job! Congrats!
The Real Clone Wars
General Grievous agreed
Agreed
This is so well edited
Nice. An original story of General Grievous. But in Lego. Also good work for the CGI...
Not only is Grievous unstoppable, he is showing off his lightsaber moves.
Dude, make Anakin vs Ventress in Yavin 4. They released minifigures related to that event
This is some advanced stop-motion. The attention to the detail of their movements is quite acute.
10/10
This is easily one of the best stop motion animations I've seen in a while. You are on par with the Brotherhood Workshop
You made general grievous look like a beast
Ah yes I remember it like yesterday
Still really nice for 10 years ago, shame it was the last he ever uploaded besides one more vid
i haven't seen anything as good as this! you have tons of potential! keep those videos coming because this was PERFECT!
This is just too awesome! I've never seen anyone animate Grievous like that! The new figure is certainly more friendly towards animators. Watching this film alone convinced me to get the new wheel bike set.
The edits in this are AMAZING!!!!
I love how you got the details so perfect, especially the one part where grievous just does the handstand and fights with his lightsabers on his feet.
A 33 second long Intro
How about No.
SCP-049 The Plauge Doctor I
SCP-049 The Plauge Doctor how about you don’t put a fan art version of the place doctor and put the real image instead?
It is worth it tho
abc 123 it just takes too long I want to watch the video I grew up on this show
abc 123 oh ok
This has aged very well! I loved the video, it's a shame Grievous in the Newer Clone Wars series isn't this fearsome. Great job!
One of my Favourite Scenes from clone wars. You did a great job. Big Like
this is actually a very impressive stop motion great job. I think the 2003 clone wars is the best star wars media put out and you captured one of the coolest fights greatly
Please do the ARC trooper scene Its gonna be epic!!!
You really managed to capture the same sort of feeling the original had
Go Grievous!!!!
Damn, that was outstanding! The animation in the faces really sold it!!! 11/10!!!
Anyone from 2019 here watching this very good show here
For 2013 this is amazing
Totally epic man! Can U do continuous of this scene with ARC troopers?
This stop motion is absolutely stunning!😮 Well done!
I know Genndy Tartakovsky! He created DEXTER'S LABORATORY, THE POWERPUFF GIRLS & HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA movies.
that's sick dude
This is pretty cool, almost 100% accurate. love the time you put into this.
That was absolutely beautiful! Very Well done! Bravo!
Can you do the fight between Anakin and Asajj Ventress in stop-motion?
Yeah especially with that new set that came out!
Good idea
People who are combining back to watch this masterpiece again after 8 years right here👇
Nice good job!
+David Roman Yeah I know!
+David Roman LOL
Came here to say I'm so impressed by this🔥🔥
Why do you have a 31 seconds intro? is that really necessary?
Well it is his channel and his intro.
No se compara esa intro con las de ahora que duran 2 minutos bueno solo con los de hablahispana
D. RyKy why dont you have Any videos??
Jeppe 53 because he isn't a TH-camr

How did you make the light sabers what program
This is an amazing recreation! This was one of my favorite scenes of the old Clone Wars cartoons.
How does one get rid of their cape and get it back while using a tornado like move
Depending how thick the cloth is, the illusion of it disappearing is possible if you move around fast enough.
That........ Was............ One of the best lego stop motions I have ever seen.... Not only that, but it was like watching the actually Cartoon.
couple inaccuracies: 1 that should be an Acclimator, not a Venator, 2 Obi-Wan was not yet a master during the battle of Hypori, he should have long hair. other than that, it was pretty good.
maybe they didn't sell Acclimator models
***** He's talking about the accuracy of the scene taken from an old miniserie
deusxinvisiblewar3 Obi-Wan was a master during that battle. This is the f*cking clone wars. But he wasn't even this that video.
D. Heisenburger He was, and he did have long hair.
