I don’t think a lot of voters are educated enough on politics, given I see all too often people voting against their own interests. But, people are complex. We’ve got plenty of values based on personal experience, there may be a lot of overlap and the fact we’re a country of 300M+ means there’s going to be quite a bit of diversity of thought. But, yeah, trying my best to look at this from the most unbiased perspective (I am biased of course), I think Trump lost. He just doesn’t sound presidential. He’s great at being Trump, but we all had a chance with him and he lost (yes he did). His strongest points were on foreign policy I admit, and attacking Biden, but that’s only half as effective when your opponent isn’t Biden anymore. Kamala clearly worked hard so as not to say anything goofy. She had a few weak moments but she maintained good composure most of the time. Thanks for reading!

A debate is not to learn about policies, go to their websites for that. It is to see which candidate can actually speak with ease and intellect about any topic. It is a comparison and contrast. Don’t expect them to go in depth or solve world problems on stage.

I'm from the Caribbean and it is a known fact throughout the Caribbean that Haitians are known for certain practices that are considered very taboo in many cultures eg. digging up graves and claiming to raise deceased people from the dead, doing their religious practice (voodoo) with human body parts, traveling with human skulls, decapitated heads in their luggage...these aren't just rumors, they are facts. Not saying every Haitian practices these things but the majority of the country does. Please look into this and do some research. It is not far fetched that they would eat dogs or cats. I'm not bashing them for that, in some cultures it's acceptable to eat things that Americans won't. For example, i was once engaged to a man from China who ate dogs and worked in an environment with many chinese and it is a fact that it's normal for them to eat dogs. In fact, it's considered a delicacy when they live in other places and don't have easy access to dogs. However, it is very possible that the American citizens of Springfield, Ohio are not lying when they say the Haitian migrants are eating their pets and the ducks at their parks. Their culture is very, very different from the norms in the US. It's just a fact.

A debate is not to learn about policies, go to their websites for that. It is to see which candidate can actually speak with ease and intellect about any topic.

Every time they said Kamala to talk about her policy she kept telling stories about how the topic relates to her but never said an actual policy. I was on the fence but it’s clear trump knows what’s actually going on and Kamala needs training. I heard a lot of the same old speeches I’ve heard throughout her campaign, very broad and vague.

To be quite honest, I am not loyal to any party and I’m not enthused by most political figures. However, I respect altruism as a value. Harris holds this value. $25,000 investments for first-time home buyers will help me directly! And $50,000 for start-up businesses? These policies will benefit so many Americans, including myself. Maybe we can start feeling like a community again and rekindle the American Dream.
Unfortunately, Trump has not proven himself. He shot down the bi-partisan immigration agreement which would've buffed up security at the border. His first campaign was built upon this broken promise. Harris, on the other hand, has already stated that she will sign this agreement into law. Trump's game is to divide Americans through lies and fear-mongering so he can profit from his position of presidency. Tax cuts for Trump is not what I’m voting for.

I'm not sure the relevant purpose of showcasing the opinion of these three individuals. Perhaps it's simply an effort to white wash the obvious contrast between the two candidates. Since one candidate's performance was dismally unhinged while the other candidate provided a clear representation of normalcy. If the primary issue for the three women interviewed was lack of specific policy by both candidates, then I would conclude these women lack general knowledge of established party policies.

That debate format was like none I’ve ever seen in my 53years. His mic muted while she was allowed to speak as long as she wished and the moderators jumping in on him too was really unprofessional. He should have been better prepared for the play.

I'm from the Caribbean and it is a known fact throughout the Caribbean that Haitians are known for certain practices that are considered very taboo in many cultures eg. digging up graves and claiming to raise deceased people from the dead, doing their religious practice (voodoo) with human body parts, traveling with human skulls, decapitated heads in their luggage...these aren't just rumors, they are facts. Not saying every Haitian practices these things but the majority of the country does. Please look into this and do some research. It is not far fetched that they would eat dogs or cats. I'm not bashing them for that, in some cultures it's acceptable to eat things that Americans won't. For example, i was once engaged to a man from China who ate dogs and worked in an environment with many chinese and it is a fact that it's normal for them to eat dogs. In fact, it's considered a delicacy when they live in other places and don't have easy access to dogs. However, it is very possible that the American citizens of Springfield, Ohio are not lying when they say the Haitian migrants are eating their pets and the ducks at their parks. Their culture is very, very different from the norms in the US. It's just a fact.
