Excellent video Michael! Really enjoyed the wrap up. You have a great quality in your videos and I really enjoy listening to your thoughts and views. Looking forward to your next round of videoes for 2024! Have a great NY
More videos of group rides. I hope to be well enough to do some of my own, but the second best thing about riding is talking to other enthusiasts. Not everyone is in a position to ride but it doesn’t cost much to go to a gathering and share your enthusiasm as long as you’re healthy enough. That is where you come into play, you can take us there ,( your doing a service that you may not have thought about)thanks a million.
Thank you Michael for all your superb video's. Professionally produced and presented but without losing your infectious enthusiasm for motor-cycling. Once the love of bikes get's under our skin's, their is (thankfully) no cure. Roll on 2024!!
What a great year you have had mate but it doesn't surprise me as you do put a lot off time into it stay well stay safe and I look forward in seeing you very soon out there.
I am really enjoying your very informative yet relaxed videos - your enthusiasm and passion for a broad set of topics in motorcycling is infectious. Looking forward to watching more videos in 2024
I really enjoyed watching this Michael, thanks for all the hard work you put in. I look forward to your reviews in 2024. Ps I want a re count the SE second to an Enfield !! 😂
😂 .. it would be some recount that made that idea work ! Thank you for both watching , and taking the time to comment . Hope to catch up at one of the RS meets next year .🤞the weather is kinder.
Hello again Michael from Virginia, USA. Really looking forward to more of your excellent coverage of the multiple facets of this hobby. I am so appreciative of the advice you shared about break-in oil as we both were putting larger pistons in our RE Interceptor 650's; that was the most valuable bit of information for me in 2023, my 750INT has 8,000 miles with total miles on the bike at 36,000. Adding riding episodes and tossing in some of the bike racing is a step in the right direction even though your videos are perfect as is. A Happy and safe New Year to you and to my fellow viewers! ❤
Many thanks for sharing publicly about your passion, we also passionates of motorbikes appreciated that a lot, your garage is simply spectacular. Maybe one day you can tell us a bit about your motorcycle background, first bike, number of bikes since then…and so on…. Thanks again and have a great 2024 full of enjoyable km/millages…
Thank you Sebastian. Glad you like it . I will try and bring some more personal motorcycle history into the videos during the year . My First bike was a Honda CB 250 G5 , 27 HP and 178 Kilos 🤔🤣
Thanks Paul . Appreciate you taking the time to comment . Funnily enough , we know could improve the videos but remind ourselves that they are made for fun .. to keep it that way . All the best for the New Year .. 👍
Thank you Jonathan. On a short winter break down but will start filming again as the new 2024 bikes start arriving at the dealers who are good enough to lend me bikes..Happy New Year 🎉
Thanks Michael, I've really enjoyed your videos. The passion, experience and information you deliver at a relaxed pace is brilliant. The variety of subject is great.
Hello Michael. Many thanks for all your time and effort in bringing these videos to our community. As you know I try to watch in reasonable peace and quiet, when I’ve just finished my night shift and “She Who Cracks The Whip” is tucked up in bed. Liking the new microphone btw, a much needed bit of non motorcycling kit. It’ll be good to see you again and a good few of the others in our group the “Kawasaki Z900RS UK” Let’s hope that the weather is a bit more kinder than it was this year. Ok! It’s my bed time now 01:40hrs Wednesday 27th Dec. So here’s hoping you and yours had a nice Christmas and very best wishes for the coming new year. Ride safe, take care. 🏍️🎊
Another great video, Michael! You have the knack. I am riding the ZRX1200 to lunch today, and I will imagine you are along, enjoying a twisty road out in the country on yours.
Thanks Michael, bumped into you at Kings back in the summer, thanks for taking the time to chat, I did buy the GSX-8S after the test ride and I absolutely love it. Being new to biking I’m interested in all your videos. I hope one day to get a GT like yours or the new GX that will be another interesting review. Have a great Christmas and Nee Year all the best!
Really like your videos, your knowledge is exceptional and i end up watching videos on bike's i don't even like and certainly would never buy. Looking forward to more in 2024 ad hope you have a good one.
Thank you Ian . I try to judge the bikes on their own merit rather than just from my personal perspective. It is interesting to ride the new bikes on the market today . I hope to find a few modern Japanese classics , in original specification and condition as well . Trips down memory are fun as well 👍
Great review Michael. I appreciate the diversity of your content, and as a local rider I look forward to your GX review from King’s! Happy New Year and all the best for 2024
@@wexxexbest The ZRX facebook groups are probably the best place to find out about what meetings are planned and meet up with fellow owners . I went to a meeting at the Super Sausage near Silverstone earlier this month . I think there were about 40 ZRX there . Very friendly , knowledgeable and helpful . Join as many groups as you can . Most of us are in more than one !
Good video's from a sensible honest chap. Yes World super bikes has been quite boring, what will happen to BSB now the prominant team owner has sadly passed away, will the ream continue?
Hello Michael. I have been watching your videos for the last three to four years and I cannot help noticing that the majority of your own bikes do not have crash protection. Do you think the crash protection systems affect the overall aesthetics of a bike?
Hello , Firstly thank you for continuing to watch ! You are right . I have fitted crash protection to a couple of my bikes but in the main, don't . I am not sure how much crash protection they actually offer but clearly they are useful for those embarassing car park topples. Bike parts are so expensive today that even low speed collisions can write a bike off . Gentle slides and off road tumbles would probably benefit from the protection but suspect that the majority of damage creating accidents , involve hitting something .. cars , kerbs, barriers, ditches etc. My current view is that on the basis the protection offered is pretty limited , they can make bikes more difficult to keep clean and personally, I don't think they add much aesthetically, I don't tend to fit them? Others clearly take a different view , which is fine 👍

Thank you . Merry Christmas to you, and yours. Not sure that I am any more qualified to offer advice than anyone else. For what it is worth , if I was going for one bike , I would look for 3 criteria . 1. Does the bike fit ? Arm position , seat height , leg room and overall comfort . 2. Does the engine configuration and gearbox suit your style of riding and is it versatile . ie can it cruise around comfortably but have enough performance to press on a bit if you are in the mood ? 3. And for me, last , do I really like the looks ? I for example, do most miles on my BMW R1250 , Suzuki VStrom , and Suzuki 1000 GT . They are not , to my eye, the best looking bikes I have , but they are versatile , comfortable and capable ... You have a very nice problem to solve . Take your time and have FUN!
