Let's Get Lucid This happened to me too! I have the harder version memorized and can play it quite well. Although this version is sweet and I like it, I prefer the original
If you both found the original challenging to learn* then you would've gained something from learning it. Learning pieces that you find difficult is what makes you a better pianist =)
started to learn piano 1 month ago. Then i came across this beautiful piece of music and decided to learn from this , now i can play this !! Thank you so much .
This version of the Last Leaf Falls is really Easy to be honest, I know that People down there Are saying something like “ It’s not as Easy , Its like a version of the hard part “ I understand your Problems, But I think I have for those People who actually Said that “It’s too Hard I give up -.-“ Don’t lose Hope ,Thats the only thing that Keeps me playing Music and Making art. Hope is always the Key for Hard or Easy Challenges, Just to remind You “Eighther the Challenge is Hard or Easy Hope is the Key” I made that myself. Makes me Proud but I think it Won’t Help out anyone BUT STILL KEEP UR DAM HOPES UP .
Well all those hours learning this song are wasted when I could have learned this version. I've learned the original and the transposed one. There's something about pieces by Lucas that make me want to master the piano.
No way is that time wasted, learning pieces that you find really difficult make you a better pianist. It pushes your technique, if you'd just learnt a version far below your current level of technique you wouldn't gain anything from learning it.
That's true, I shouldn't have worded it like that. Ever since I've learned this piece, a lot of the songs I've learned have been easier than before. I do strive towards becoming a good pianist and that's what you have to give in order to become one, time. Thanks for the words Lucas, it does mean a lot coming from you.
That's awesome, all you have to do is stay interested, keep practicing and there is no way you won't become a good pianist. I remember an amazing pianist said to me once "you have a glass under a slow dripping tap, just keep it there and the glass will be full one day".
Is it sad that I can't even accomplish the easiest piano pieces? I try for hours to no prevail. All of the music I see on this channel is so beautiful, but if I can't help to share the beauty to others than what is the point in attempting to? I just wish I could be as blessed as some of the people are who can make such beautiful work, you know? I wish the tap poured faster into my glass. -ThePianistWhoCouldn't
Panda HD I know you commented this a month ago and I bet you've probably mastered this already, but some advice for you, you don't have to play what's exactly on the screen/page, make this into your own, something *you* can play, it worked for me, and it can work for you, I tried to play this and couldn't, the left was too hard to focus with my right and I was getting confused, so I changed the left hand a little and it sounds pretty great! So change it up a bit, or maybe have practice, Believe that you can do it, you might will :D
Exotic_PandaFTW This is the only comment I have seen like this and I can totally relate. This also broke my heart bc how you said it😂 your not alone!! Just keep trying I try to learn some parts of pieces in sections and work on them for a long time then move on to the next!
I’ve learn this in three days, at first I had a bit of struggle with the left hand and I was very slow, but if you practice for a long time it will go by itself
My lil cousin is playing this one! I showed him the original video, he said it was too difficult, so I got him this version and he loves it, he's doing really well
Honestly this is a very beautiful composition, I love it so much I tried to learn the other version too but I have only been playing for less than a year so this one should be much easier to learn for completing a performance for school, I love this!
Lucas King I sure will! My music teacher absolutely loves this, would you mind if I put lyrics to the audio? I have a ew verses that will be perfect for this!
Lucas, a pianist like you deserves more recognition!! I'm thankful for the easier version you uploaded. But is it possible to learn the advanced version with just one year of piano experience?? cause I play by ear after I quit my lessons.
cribqby Even tho this comment was 3 yrs ago I’ll still reply lol. My dumb younger self forgot I didn’t have a teacher or former training to begin with, so learning was harder then. I have one now though, and I agree that’s it’s indeed an easier version haha :)
Hi Lucas, love your work. Any chance of the MIDI file for the easy version to be released? I've got the MIDI for the original but it's still beyond my ability as a beginner piano player. Thanks.
Watching your videos make me want to learn piano. However, I trying to learn some easy songs but I've always the same problem : play right hand and left hand separately is really easy but play the two hands at the same time is sooooo difficult xD. I've to pratice a lot but I don't really have the time. Btw, nice video, thanks for this :). I love this piece
Baitot Memasa getting better at playing with both hands is all about left and right hand coordination. You practice this by beginning with easy songs with two hands and then playing harder songs one at a time. Maybe some other exercises that have to do with left-right hand coordination can quicken your ability of playing with two hands, such as juggling etc. Just a little help from a former pianist :)
I think most people do have that problem when starting out. Practicing simple pieces with both hands slowly (and I mean really slow) will get rid of that problem. It takes time, learning piano can be tedious and it takes a lot of patience. Thank you!
Thank you so much Lucus King. I have listen to this song so many times, the original one. I know how to play River Flows In You by Yiruma, Last leaf is next!
No offence to the original fancy and complicated composition, but I kind of like this one more to be quite honest. It feels slower paced and more relaxed. Thanks Lucas ^_^
Lucas, I am desperately seeking the sheet music for this version and the original version please? I have just started back to playing piano again with lessons after 23 years! My heart is set on learning this piece but I would love both versions to decide on my "challenge" level in starting back. Much appreciated!
Hey Lucas can check out my latest cover of Castlevania-BloodyTears? I always appreciate your feed back. By the way, have you put any of your original albums up for sale yet? If so where can I pick one up?
easy... omg I need to learn so much... after playing the trumpet for 30 years piano is insanely difficult. My skills in reading music and music theory extend miles beyond my ability to actually pláy the piano which makes it an often frustrating thing. I’ve had my fill of ‘twinkle twinkle little star’ and it’s companions in the easy-player-corner. Argh, please forgive my ranting, I’m just struggling to find where and how to improve my piano skills... Back to my scales and twinkling stars, Chopin will have to wait a bit. ;)
Learnt this in 2 days, love it so much. It is hard to find easy versions of songs that still have such emotion. Thanks for the tutorial!
I love how this comes out as soon as I complete the hard version😂
Did you find it difficult to learn?
+Lucas King it was quite a challenge but I managed =)
Let's Get Lucid This happened to me too! I have the harder version memorized and can play it quite well. Although this version is sweet and I like it, I prefer the original
+Yoli Patzkowski yep same I agree
If you both found the original challenging to learn* then you would've gained something from learning it. Learning pieces that you find difficult is what makes you a better pianist =)
you make me allways remember that hope never dies thanks ☺
The Random Tube
Way to ruin the moment.
c'thun tell and then there’s a song titles “how to tie a noose”
AND MY HOPE WILL NEVER DIE...
sorry...
Simplicity is a fine art.

GD Exuii I know right! Skills

Eric Ortega Thats the power of emotional piano music, changes your perspective about everything

As long as the tap is pouring, the glass will be full eventually!

It's alright. I'm the exact same and I get angry very easily but I have learned that I need to just take a deep breath! :)
Exotic_PandaFTW I mean I totally agree with you because I'm a beginner and can't play the simplest piano pieces☹
Exotic_PandaFTW This is the only comment I have seen like this and I can totally relate. This also broke my heart bc how you said it😂 your not alone!! Just keep trying I try to learn some parts of pieces in sections and work on them for a long time then move on to the next!

ive blend some parts of the hard version, to this..(it was fantastic :D )
Thank you for this beautiful piece! I just finished learning it. I wanted to learn the original one, but no way lol. I'm not ready yet.

Thank you! You'll have this one learnt in no time =D
Lucas King I sure will! My music teacher absolutely loves this, would you mind if I put lyrics to the audio? I have a ew verses that will be perfect for this!
No I don't mind at all I'd love to have a listen/read when you're done =)
Lucas, a pianist like you deserves more recognition!! I'm thankful for the easier version you uploaded. But is it possible to learn the advanced version with just one year of piano experience?? cause I play by ear after I quit my lessons.

cribqby Even tho this comment was 3 yrs ago I’ll still reply lol. My dumb younger self forgot I didn’t have a teacher or former training to begin with, so learning was harder then. I have one now though, and I agree that’s it’s indeed an easier version haha :)

Está canción es super bonita
At 2:04 it totally says FACE.......

so does all the spaces on the treble staff
+TrebleMelody that's right
Very astute observation, good colleague.
With the spaces....
