I know I'm being a bit hyperbolic in saying this, but I genuinely feel like I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed "Year of the Cup"--I really loved the sentiment behind the Lil Wayne interview and the little back-and-forth between Porter's lyrics and the sample throughout the entirety of the track.

The instrumental is one of my favs of the album, some of his best writing ever and that Lil Wayne sample plays into the fun, meme culture/commentary that remains in the background of the album whilst still conveying a message of someone suffering from self destruction
The song broke my heart. The line where he said “f you, you don’t deserve me” when what he wanted to say was “Help me”… reminds me of all the times I argue with my loved ones and my wife and it’s so true. Hurt people hurt people.
I'm surprised at how mixed the reception is... I don't think there's any skips on the album, my least favourite is perfect pinterest garden but that's still a fun little ditty and I'd listen to it again. Russian Roulette is SOTY contender for me

Really wish he'd played Russian Roulette too. The song, not the game. It has a beautiful bridge and explosive final stretch, and its take on "clichés" and why you shouldn't immediately dismiss something the moment you realize it is a cliché, is interesting. Really touching song, and the final few seconds are both profound and funny.
I liked the songs that weren't singles, well most of them but the singles like knock yourself out just felt incoherent and nonsensical... Couldn't understand it even if it had a catchy chorus.
