Your ability to just make anything funny is so ridiculous. There are so many different types of standup comedians, but your ability to do it on the fly, responding to things in the news pretty much on the spot, is nuts. Not many standup guys can do that so well, even the ones at the top.
That line about McConnel getting the same care as the 9/11 first responders was BRILLIANT.
What kills me is they get free medical for life and call us entitled when we have to work for it. I don't think 9/11 was as big of a deal as people play it up to be, it was just a terrorist attack that we allowed to strip ourselves of rights (TSA, etc). But the people who showed up are hero's, and now they are sick because of the materials the government allowed them to use to build those buildings.
Don't get me wrong it's sad those people were killed, I'm just aware of the insane number of people who die every die because of poverty, and that's so avoidable I'm a bit numb to terrorist attacks and "mass shootings".
Some don’t seem to understand that Josh is a brilliant commentator and comic, and some points are not meant to be funny and others are meant to crack us up. His take is truly comedy and tragedy braided into deep insights.

I fully believe that Josh is the next Trevor Noah. He’s so good at political comedy/commentary and it’s amazing how much new content he comes up with

Lol Josh is so much better than both Noah and Chappelle combined. Noah is never funny. Chapelle is bitter and offensive. Josh is in the middle and grounded. Very grounded.
Trevor Noah was partial about his political commentary. Comedians make fun of all the political parties.
Chappelle is a trans phobic bigot. This guy not giving off those vibes. Trevor told stale jokes off a teleprompter. Seems like this comment was made based on race and a vague resemblance rather than similarities in their personality. Just a dumb comparison.
It’s nice when you meet someone as an adult, that turns out to be your best friend. It’s not easy, but it’s worth the risks.
Your story telling, and on the nose commentary is always genius.

I wouldn’t say dry, it’s Canada. And I say this as a person who lives 45 mins away from the place he did this show at. He had them at Mitch and republicans (no surprise there) but the school shootings? Way more serious of a problem and not something commonly faced here. I don’t know that we joke about it quite as Much. I think the crowd was just being intentful, and listening. I don’t know that they were dry.

I've been following Josh's comedy journey for years and he's grown so much! He's always been insightful, curious, and witty! I love that he makes himself laugh as well and that he's lived life which has contributed to so many amazing stories to tell!
Literally becoming one of my favorite comedians just putting fresh stuff out with current topics...non of that "Perfecting a bit for a year before releasing in front of a crowd" stuff that every comedian likes to do
Many good dishes have tomatoes as a base in the sauce, but potatoes can be the dish by itself. So I vote for the potato party

Honestly i don’t need to yell laughing at comedians every time. Josh has made me near piss myself, but when he does such intelligent modern commentary mixed with the soft jokes, it’s just as good or even better than when he has those pure jokes that just make you bust your sides

Hey Josh! Great set! I noticed one of the audio channels is flipped. Great for a dipole subwoofer setup ^_^ but hard to hear otherwise. I had to rip the video and flip one of the tracks in Audition to be sure and fix it.
Indeed, Josh. My aunt was registered nurse and was in NYC working in emergency on 9/11. My mother and I are in Toronto and it took days to get in touch with her. She told us about the madness and confusion as she and the rest of the staff worked to care for the victims.
"And I swear to G-d it took forever to wash off all that white dust," she said.
She was dead within a year.
