Can a prairie dog actually love it's owner I think only a dog can really feel that with it's owner
I own 3 and have had 4 total in my lifetime. They absolutely love you and are some of the most affectionate animals I’ve ever known. Second only to maybe dogs as you say.

Did they really need the metal pans and hanging toys? I cant find one in my country.
No they do really need them, they just help with the mess.
No they can use plastic bins with shredded news papers in them to use the bathroom. Toys can be cardboard boxes, cotton mop heads and tissues.
Do you clip her teeth? My Gary's teeth are getting long and he's not wearing them down faster than they are growing 🙃
Is it bad that I’ve had mine for 2 months and he runs away from me but he never bites but if I take him out of his cage he runs back in

What do you do about liter? Do you use a metal liter pan? How do I get in to the prairie dog files on Facebook. I am a member, and I have heard about the file's. Where do I get into them?
I have metal pans in the cage but you can litter train prairie dogs. I use corner litter pans for rabbits and Guinea pigs to potty train them. I place some hay in the litter bins and put them in places i see them going potty.
You will have to message the admin on the Facebook groups. But usually the files are under the about section of the Facebook group.

you can tell they're poo/peeing when they back into a corner and don't move for a time.
