Thank GOD. Invasions isn't an inherently bad mode, it's just that they haven't expanded on it enough. So this is exciting
Yes it is.. it’s incredibly boring and repepetitive. And either really really easy and brain dead or annoyingly hard. Such a shit mode, this probly won’t fix it much
After playing and grinding in krypts 20 plus years in every krypt based MK game on multiple systems including Wii and psp. Invasions is to me the best of both worlds, fighting matches to earn currency and chests mostly filled with skins and gear instead of mostly consumables and content replenished each season. I use Invasions to level up my fighters and kameos one level
At a time each so I get around the same experience with all of them and can main any of them!

What i would like is the dlc characters to have more skins.

Yeah and be able to level them up as much as the base roster, get all the same skins/palletes including silver and gold, and all the same seasonal skins and gear from past and current seasons

Shujinko using all character's moves was insane but very effective! 👌🏿
Looks like they made him do enhanced versions of the moves so you can combo off them

@@Mortalkombat295You have characters that _AREN'T_ maxed out? LOL! When NRS decided to completely fvck the earning of exp, I thought "Damn! It's a good thing I maxed out all of my characters already because now it will take 5 years to attain all that." Not everyone is _really_ into MK though.
@@amisanthrope247 I’m not all that into, honestly I like the lore of it more than I do the gameplay itself. I don’t mind not having all characters maxed, I’m really just trying to get Shang, all the ninjas and dlc characters and that’s it

I've been using rain/shunjinko for a little, and this change for shujinko is huge.

Happy with the new updates but when are we gonna be able to choose different skins on the character select screen
Kinda like MK11 where you can have the wanted skin, pallet, and gear for the fight not all random
I had a dream they added The Pit and The Dead Pool in their classic mk1 glory, but somehow on analysing the map it became more and more scuffed and weird. The spikes were all low poly blocks and there was stretched textures everywhere so I went on to beg Boon to let me fix it all lmao
I’m coming back to play this there listening to the fans and trying to make the game better
The issue with Invasions is that they added WAY too many short little 1 round fights
It’s just such a chore and takes forever to make progress with all the stopping
Would you prefer the old system from previous Mortal Kombat games, where you repeatedly fought 3-round matches to grind for currency to unlock chests in the krypts, mostly containing consumables rather than cosmetic content? Or the previous system in MK11 where you have to grind matches to replenish krypt chests, only to roam around krypt to hopefully find a replenished chest only to unlock mostly consumables again and rarely cosmetic items for your fighters? After 100 plus hours on multiple consoles playing MK11 Krypt and replenishing g 5 or more times memorizing the whole map, and playing 100 plus hours in Invasions mode. Invasions in my opinion is simpler, far more rewarding so much less of a grind and each season replenishes chests and adds new content. I believe in options menu you can change the number of rounds in Invasions as well. I would like to see the talisman and relics replaced with stage effects options though. I don't bother with those not even when battling Titans.
@@lanceman24 I just think instead of making you play a million meaningless 1 round matches, they should make like 1000 actually quality fights and let invasions be more mini game/exploration based
@@CaptainProx a million? Have you even played Invasions? There are like 40-50 matches each Mesa with a couple towers. This is a fighting game the purpose of a fighting game is to fight and that's what you do in Invasions while unlocking new content unlike most fighting games where you fight and have to pay actual💰 to get more content. Like you see in SF6 and Tekken 8.

First, you say there's too many short fights & that they should be longer...THEN you say that getting through invasions takes too long. I for one definitely do not want invasions to take any longer than it does now. Actually, I'm always looking for the right talismans & relics to speed it all up as much as I can & no, I'm not going to completely contradict myself & sound like someone that whines & cries under any circumstances. LOL!
They should have a mode where it's just 1 on 1 no kameo mode.... everyone wants this

Definitely some interesting news for invasions. Idk about others but the maps felt like too much of a grind and dragged on due to repetitiveness. Sometimes difficult with some of those survive missions. If I do get on, I just try my best to rush through for the exclusive season skins, lol. The only two skins I didn't get were for Titan Ashura and Malieena.
I love how their listening at nrs bro its good for the company and the game and this is a good sign

So they update a few characters moves
They fr must understand, we need more modes, invasions is repetitive, i repeat Mk11 had towers of time(solit in a lot of different tower modes with co op), classic towers, Kript, intros/outros, AI battle, it had si much content i swear its enough to keep the game alive for years even now i havent finished every krypt secret or tower with insane skins
And almost everyone’s skin in mk11 is just a slightly altered version of their default. I mean one of Jacqui’s is literally her default with a new hair and jacket slapped on😭🙃 honestly dlc in mk11 had better skins than a lot of the main roster
@@MaddyKahn Nah idk Cetrion had skins so colored that made my eyes hurt, or Shao, an example out of many, but still u could chose from hundreds of skins wich u could obtain from a lot of game modes

The dumb thing about invasions is how they make it so damn difficult like if I wanted a difficult mode I would play online pissed me off to the point I gave up on the mileena skin

They should take off the nodes change the camera angle and make invasions a open world id be more inclined to finish the whole seasons a bit more

@rekkasketch4659 gameplay is the best it's been in the series. Still don't mean you suck up to them no matter what. Fighting is good, story is bad, content is bad, microtransaction are bad, forced to use kameos is bad, skins for kameos is bad, some characters are way better than others, invasions is bad, tower content is bad etc.

Holy fuck i got on last night and realized how much faster and less clunky it feels now. Especially without the god awful posing whilst cameo is out.
How is king of the hill crossplay but practice mode online is not even available yet, its been saying coming soon forever, its alredy in offline mode all they have to do is make it so u can do it with someone else.
I DID NOT PAY 500+ $ for a ps5 to play a side scroller or whatever invasions is suppose to be
I was excited for shujinko even if he was just a cameo but was disappointed by the charge time

The things I really want with DLC is:
1. Be able to level them up as much as the base roster
2. Give them the same amount of palettes as the base roster and gear (Including the silver and gold ones)
3. Give DLC all the same seasonal skin options the base roster had from the previous and current seasons
They really need to add seasonal skins for the DLC characters now. The skins themselves are bad enough and super average looking, the least they could do is give some to DLC.

hate the kameo system, the lack of customization and the lack of single player modes really makes MK1 a very lackluster game.
Oh boy! An update for the obnoxious grindy mode that literally turned me off of the game quicker than any other MK. Haven't touched it since tge day Quan Chi came out. So exciting.
