Manny, you have gotten me started! I have ordered a pair of Nicks Overlanders in 1964 walnut smooth out, and a pair of Whites Stockmans in the Red Dog leather. I REALLY like your Overlanders in the Latigo, but didn't want to wait 8 or 9 months for my first pair. But after I get my first pair, and get my size locked in, I think my next pair are going to be the Latigo in tan, with a leather outsole in an Officer or Ranger. My Nicks are coming by Quick ship, so hopefully they will be here around the beginning of February. I think you have great taste and class. Are you an electrician? I am. Been in the trade for 40 years. Stay safe, bud.

I grew up in the trades my mother was an architect and had been around mud, concrete, metal, and wood for quite a time. I'm a General Contractor and do service/maintenance too, especially MEPs. Eternal apprentice my brother. You never finish learning in the trades. NEVER.
I like this leather a lot, had a unique character, and Japanese premium leather. Monroe made fine boots, brother, and have a good service too. Oily, pliable, strong, a bit stiff since veg tan but smooth enough to be comfortable
Hey man! I don't have experience with JK but those look really well made. Can't compare them. I will choose what I know works better for me, Nicks does pretty good. I like Nicks. However, all PNW does a magnificent job brother. Take what you like more 😀

Where do you find the Indonesian boots for sale?
Normally, on Instagram, brands like : sagara, monroe heritage, as well other youtube videos have good references of brands.
They look badass, but they're so effing uncomfortable, made the lace to toe mistake a couple times before I learned my lesson... lol
Why you think is uncomfortable? Just curious

Around the vamp area yes, but gives better stability walking. Some pros and cons
