Sadly my trust in Drs is not very great when I was prescribed something and took it for a long time with little effect and went to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack when I was just having a panic attack. The tests came back negative for the med I was prescribed 😢 right then and there my trust has been altered

Or, do things that will prevent the need for medications. Exercise, keep weight down, do not smoke, and accept the gradual process of aging. Much harder to do, but as a population, we could decrease all the costs associated with medications, injections, operations, and disability.

Has placebo been tested against people without a sugar pill? Sort of a control group of a control group.

Interesting question. In other words is "no pill" compared to sugar pill studied. I guess it would have to be a very specific use of words when enrolling patients into the study. Please let me know if you have discovered such as study, and if so, the wording told to the study participants.
