I'm new to the game, but the Barbarian seems absolutely brutal. He does a huge amount of damage for how simple his playstyle is. Plus he can heal himself? Kinda seems a little overpowered to me. But then again, I'm an inexperienced player, so maybe I'm missing something.
I doubt you'll see this comment so late in the videos lifespan but excellent work mates, you've earned a sub from me. On the off chance you do, what are you using to roll your die? Is that custom made? If not where could I buy one?
Hey! Thanks for the kind words and thanks for the sub. I actually got this Dice Tower at a comic con type convention. All I know is that it was called Medieval Dice Tower. So many a few google searches might turn something up. Thanks again.
Shakes dice with hands. then puts dice in tower roller lol. human nature is hard to beat haha =) This looks like a fun little game. we are playing it this week on game night, was just learning the rules =)
Thanks for the comment mate. Dice Throne is a fairly easy game to learn. Hard to master. There are a lot of little rules that are easily forgotten but still overall an amazing game.
Great matchup! It was a close one. If I was Caleb I would've saved my "Not This Time" for when I was taking at least 6 damage and I would have saved my "Helping Hand" for one of your offensive rolls so that I might prevent an entire attack rather than simply preventing 2 damage. Otherwise I thought he did very well and I was impressed that he was able to kill you if he was given an extra turn (A close match!). Of course, the "So Wild" you played was legit, though, so he did die.
Anyone know where I can get the dice tower they are using? I love the sound, and that it doesn't have a bottom so you can lift the tower to access the dice.
@@slipcapone1466 Yeah I don't think there at tournament rules. However you can do whatever you want. If you have a few people over and you want the games to go quicker I'd recommend a lower health starting point.
Hey mate. Always good to hear from fellow Aussies! We normally go to PAX and whatnot during the year but so far we have not done any meet ups to play games. Maybe one day though! Also there are plenty of cards that allow you to draw more cards so I never had to much of an issue with drawing only 1 each turn
@@TabletopKnights Would you know if, when I place a targeted effect on a player, does the effect take place in that same turn? Would I add 2 extra damage on the turn I put the token there or on the next attacks?
Subbed for the card closeups and character health overlays! Thanks for going the extra mile, stranger-friends
could not have said it better. I was looking for a channel like this
27:00 100% you can use it! And did so beautifully!
GG
What a freaking duel! Strange way both of you lose in upkeep and not to a battle. Monster 20 damage hit. Fun vid.
I can’t wait to get my hands on S1 rerolled. There will be nothing but Dice Throne at my house for months, especially with Adventures!
You can use the wild card for any roll! Fair game well played!
Thanks for that it was a really fun game. Ull see Caleb in more DT I'm sure!
Love these so much!!!! Always grab some chips and a drink and gear up for a great game😝😝
Thanks heaps Isaac! I very rarely get to watch the end product fully since I got through it 2 or 3 times during the editing process haha

thats the thing, thats all he can do. other characters can do other shenanigans
27:00 was a legal play. The cursed pirate needs to go through her deck like the shadow thief to have a chance at winning.
Thanks heaps for clarifying that one Yuri. You the best!
Caleb, keep your dice in the camera view! 😂
Brutal fight, nice works lads! Every time I watch a match I want to play too
Dice Throne has that effect on me too. If I see enough posts on FB about it then I have to play!
Welcome back Caleb! Another great video :D And thanks for the surprise match up
Hey man. We will be doing more Dice Throne with different folks coming up. The game is too good to not share!
@@TabletopKnights That's awesome! Share it and show it! :D I think everyone watching your videos agrees to that ;) Also... CONGRATS on 700 subs!
@@mattias9095 you don't have 700 accounts do you ? ;)
@@TabletopKnights What?! No not at all. All of those subs are legit and well deserved guys :)
Been watching a lot lately - nice videos! Can't wait to see what is in store for Season 3
The leaflets are very informational ;)
Great use of so wild, the barb is underrated
It was a last minute choice that's for sure! Barb is great, definitely one of the best!
Will definitely get thi board game it looks super fun to play

Victor, you stole my Barbarian!!!
Just keeping it warm for you for the competition in the future. This is just a friendly Haha

Hey mate. Great comment and strats. I definitely would save my Not This Time. 1 damage means a lot In this game for sure!
There's really a massive difference between season two and the rerolled look and feel vs original season 1.
I keep seeing ads for this game. It looks super fun honestly.
When we play with the cursed pirate we. Flip as soon as we can so we have more hit points and better attacks . sort of all or nothing .
Yeah I definitely feel that's the best way to play the Cursed Pirate. I definitely want to use her more!
did they stop giving dice with swirls? Mine are only a matte finish
Woo!
It’s been a while I’ve got a few videos to watch of yours!
Really wanna see some more artificer too!
We definitely need more Artificer that's for sure. Thanks for tuning in!
Arrrrr! Cursed pirate!
So you get a defensive roll against every attack that isn't undefendable?
Yay!
It was a hard few weeks without playing haha. Best game ever!
Anyone know where I can get the dice tower they are using? I love the sound, and that it doesn't have a bottom so you can lift the tower to access the dice.
It's called medieval Dice Tower when you google it. We got it at a PAX 2 years ago.
Get em on Ebay for 12 Bucks :)
Delightful dice tower.
Is this included?
It is not! Most people use trays for this game as their is a lot of moving the dice around and whatnot!
@@TabletopKnights woah!
Where can I get me one of those?
@@lightninginmyhands4878 If you type in Medieval Dice Tower In Google you may find it. I got mine at a PAX booth.
Hey guys, are there particular tournament rules for this game? If so, could you please provide a link. Thanks Heaps
There is King of the Hill mode. Other than that I don't think so. You should join the Dice Throne FB Group. They have good discussions there
@@TabletopKnights Thanks for the reply. I don't have Facebook hence hitting you guys up with questions : )

When I play, orange cards work for any roll unless otherwise stated somewhere else.
Yeah that's how we play too but being in the public eye there is a fear for making mistakes haha.
Thanks heaps for the comment!
@@TabletopKnights You're welcome! I'd love to see the Artificer vs. the Samurai! Past vs. Future!
@@dandyprime5338 Good idea actually. We will.do that one next!
@@TabletopKnights Awesome! I look forward to it! :)
cursed pirate have to lose doubloon at upkeep phase? not the end?
How does the stun work exactly?? Does the barbarian get an additional roll phase
Yeah they get an additional attack but not a draw phase etc. If I remember correctly
Do you blokes have a group/meta in Melbourne? Also, how did you find the mechanic of only drawing one card per turn? Thanks Heaps

@@TabletopKnights Thanks for your reply. I just stumbled across this game so looking around for players in BrisVegas.
Wish it wasn’t so expensive .
If you consider your next two games then you may feel better about it. I will be getting my money's worth out of this one.
Is there an advantage/disadvantage to mix season 1 and 2 characters?
None at all. They did their best to balance all the characters.
@@TabletopKnights Thanks for the quick reply! Will order some new boxes and wanted to make sure I wasn’t giving someone an adv/disadv.

@@mcnationprod We just got season 1 box 1 with moon elf, and the +2 damage applies starting with the next attack.
You can’t use card not this time with undefendable damage
Dude in the hat should just let the other guy play. He was so interfering, I'd hate to play with him
It was the guys 2nd game and he had not played in a long time so he needed rule reminders so the guy in the hat was helping.
