I love the cycle of the "DGR Guarantee." First he says then dies, then it only counts when he puts the logo up then he dies, then it's always the one after and then he dies. Always makes me laugh.
Should’ve left a comment suggesting a second check point after each red coin. It seems he wasn’t quite sure what he was doing and was just experimenting with the concept. But the boss fight was cool, where you can’t/shouldn’t jump. Not counting the soft locks, it’s a pretty solid level.
That boss fight was easily cheesable. Just jump and get the key. No need to wait for the bullet bill to hit the pow.

I didn’t even understand the no jumping part of it so you’re probably right but I can’t say you’re wrong. lol As DGR would say, “explain this to me as if I were five…”
@@justapoet2794 You get two keys when jumping, making you go through the second key warp box which kills you. You only get one key when killing boom boom the intended way :)
@@peeturpain9379 Actually, that boss fight can’t be cheesed. You end up with two keys if you jump. In the room right after the boss fight, there are two warp boxes - one that’s locked and one that’s not locked. The locked one doesn’t lead to the path forward, the unlocked one does lead to the correct path forward. If you have a key, the game prioritizes the locked warp box in that setup.
So when you jumped, did it give you 1 key or 2 keys? Basically, the cheese would work if it gives you 1 key and letting Boom Boom die ends up with 2 keys, but if jumping gives you 2 keys so that defeating boom boom would give you 3 keys, agreed that the cheese doesn't work.

Dgr was doing it right that time he just charged ahead on the bullet section and then swam up he just barely clipped the bullet so he went into the spike. He gave up too quickly

I can maths... DGR guarantee is 50% success rate. Either it works or it doesn't.
It's usually like the third or fourth turn after you convince yourself you'll get it that you finally reach that state of mind where your focus is strong enough to do it without going too far to make you mess up.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like you can cheese this room by hitting a P Switch and then stay climbing on the vine until the timer for the P Switch runs out.
no, cause you need the trampolines to get up there and they fall upon hitting a p-switch
@@TBird136 My brain didn’t process the trampolines falling after a P Switch was hit. I’m not sure if you can grab one while they are falling and balance it on your head while you are on the vine.

If he took his TH-cam channel as seriously as his streaming, I think he would be able to get a million easy! But too many videos are just twitch recordings with no context in the video or description. He also has not posted a mariothon recap in three weeks despite all of the hype he gave it. However, episodes like this one do make for good TH-cam content.
