- Mako 12 on the water.
Overall very nice kayak for the money. There are few things that can be improved. I will create a separate video pointing things I don't like about the kayak. Thanks for Watching. If you like these videos please like and subscribe. This will encourage me to make more videos.
The mako looks great
Looks good and easy on the wallet. :)
I have same kayak. Yes, rides a bit low, but maybe if u only had 1 person in kayak. Also, why so much water in floor? Mine stays dry. (Again, it's a 1 person kayak... u had cameraperson). (I replaced crappy scupper plugs).
Hey Larry, Riot tested the kayak with one adult and one kid in the front without an issue. I wanted to confirm their testing by doing my own. The water in the kayak is from the extra load I had in the back. 40 Lbs bait bucket and extra equipment. I share the same opinion regarding the scupper plugs.
Cool, Saltloony
I'm gonna add Boonedox wheels this winter.
I'm in Sacramento delta.
@@larrybrickman5882 Please post a video if you can. I will be doing some upgrades this week. Upgrading anchor trolley and adding rod extensions. Please subscribe so you can be notified.
I Was waiting for it to sink.
Lol, kayak is very stable even when close to max capacity.
great video. Can you do 1 on how you mounted the fish finder ? i am at a toss up between this and the angler 360 for obvious reasons. Where are you fishing out of ? I'm in the st petersburg area
I will try to post it by tomorrow. I am on the east coast. I usually fish out of the Palm Beach area.
Just posted a video on how I installed the fish finder. th-cam.com/video/P04tPe-e-V4/w-d-xo.html
Have you ever tried a bonafide kayak yet sir
Not yet, other 2 kayaks I owned were Vibe Sea Ghost 130 and Ocean Kayak Malibu. I was looking into something light with a pedal drive after my foot injury and Riot Mako fit the bill.
Saltloony do you like this better then sg 130?
@@zcolson97 Yes and No. SG 130 is a solid kayak, but i needed something to help me pull out fish away from the structure. I will try to compare both the kayaks in a video if you like.
that seems like a lot of water in the kayak is that normal
Ive got an impression that someone is in kayak filming him, so theres two persons in it...
I dont get why people leave the scupper plugs in all the time. It's a self-bailing cockpit. If he pulls those scupper plugs out ALL of that water will drain out.
@@KayakKingdom kayak was loaded and pulling the scupper plugs didn't help. It actually took on some more water after pulling one of them.
@@okuma7713 yes, my son was sitting in the front. You can see him later in the video.
Not normal. As mentioned in the video my kayak was loaded. My son was sitting in the front and i had a full size bait bucket in the back.
