I feel the same way about my mossberg 500 pump .410. Has an extra full choke and I always shoot bismuth or tungsten. It's absolutely underrated!

During the crazy ammo shortage just recently I found 28 gauge shotgun shells all the shelves all the time so I started buying shotgun shells and then I ended up purchasing a 28 gauge and it is a great little shotgun for dove hunting

I’ve shot a 28 gauge 32” multi choke barrel for the last 18 years and take birds up to 55 yards ¾ oz loads and it patterns better than most 12 gauges

Only thing not said, was all the birds are raised (in house, or by a contractor) and put out just in advance of a hunting party (and that's the entire story). Bob, I was impressed with your shooting with the 28 ga !

This is a awesome video I’ve had a Remington 1100 LW 28ga for about 10yrs but it has a skeet barrel so I’ve never shot it other than just plinking but I just finally found a full choke barrel the other day can’t wait to use it in two weeks when we do our annual pheasant hunt gonna be awesome

I just bought a Beretta A400 Xplor 20 guage and a 28 guage! I’m excited to shoot it! That single shot 410 is sold by Rossi, both of my kids got them when they were young. They call it a Matched Pair, comes with 22lr and 410 barrel. They had another package that was 20 guage and .243. Pretty sweet starter shotgun/rifle package.

Bob.. usually 2 dots and 1 dot is the selector of what barrel shoots first..(2 dots top/1 dot bottom) when your gun didn't fire I believe it was because you didn't open it fully to reload. I've done it with mine...I heard it click when you opened it to check. The full open resets the firing pins on the barrels

Hi Bobby and the gang, what an amazing video Bobby, some good shooting all round but great to see you shooting with a 28 gauge in your hands rather than an auto. (it was a 28 and not a 20 as you kept saying!!!) Yes Bobby, there are a lot of driven shoots over here that put on 410 days and 28 bore days. Never mock the small bores for their range. Always great to watch the dogs on point. Do some more when you can Bobby, very enjoyable! ps get P> Diddy out with a gun instead of a camera would make a change!!! That would be so much fun to be there. I know that my brother Mark and I would love shooting clays then going on an upland bird hunt afterwards. I remember in a podcast on BlindTalk that Preston mentioned a more relaxed limit on the birds there vs state regulations. I know that in Pennsylvania the limit is two roosters 🐓.
I want my next shotgun to be an O/U in 20 gauge to compliment my 12 gauge semi automatic Franchi Affinity. The 28 gauge would be cool 😎 too. I am not that great of a shot with an over and under, but with practice I would catch on.

I have a berreta silver pigeon that has both a 20 gauge barrel and a 28 gauge barrel. I have been hunting with it since I was 9 and I love it and still hunt with it now

Great little gun I've used one for years, cartridges are expensive, but such a lovely gun to carry and shoot. Have shot some really high pheasants with rc cartridges among the best I've used. Has anyone tried reloading this great little cartridge.
CZ makes a lot of 28 gauges and their prices are wife-friendly. Outstanding guns for the money.

Not necessary the 28 gauge but the over under is the ticket, I shoot an over under Beretta Onyx 2/4 to 3 1/2 on all birds quail, pheasants ducks and geese give it a try, cheers from California 🍻

Quail have disapeared in the south and east of the U.S.due to coyotes the wardens put here in late 70s.
