Awesome that such a cheap and seemingly effective solution is available. Educators require pressure rated pumps, things like SCWD and Ocean's Motion restrict way too much water flow and are very temperamental if you have too much flow, and Sea Swirls/Sweeps are just really expensive considering what they do.
Absolutley brilliant info..I've allways been a big fan of mechanical internal circulation so I can't wait for my next project and to load up on several jumbos of these puppies💙💙💙🦈🐡🐠🐙🐟🦀
Does the VCA 1/2” Random Flow Generator come with the threaded adapter? I purchased one, No Adapter was in the package, even though it showed one in the description. If not, it’s misleading at the least.
Is this really ideal for a 20 watercube? My tiny goby got sucked through the bulky overkill powerhead 😪 and sadly passed away. Trying to run no powerhead.
Is that flow requirement per nozzle? meaning if i am pushing 500gph but Isplit into two return lines each with VCA RFG will they work? Or, do I need to double my GPH? which I am not going to do btw.
Hi Randy. I see on the video review that the nozzle produces a blast of tiny bubbles representing a visual obstruction. I'm wandering if that nozzle makes those bubbles all the time or it's when the return pump is just starting only. By other hand, I bought a 38 gal peninsula AIO aquarium that comes with a 800 litter/hour. What do you think about the power of the return pump for an aquarium this size and that it's gonna be for mixed corals?? Thank you for your support.
The VCA RFG nozzles are defectively designed. They all split at the connection to loc-line, rendering them too loose to stay attached or aim. The plastic of the ball socket is too thin.
I use them for my Red Sea Reefer 525XL and really like the pattern it creates. VCR did a great job on them
Vcr didn't create them or even the idea of them

Haha my comment is on website in the opening of this video how neat

So I got dual returns and those are split in 2 so I would need 4 nozzles in 3/4 so would I need 500 or 2000?

That’s an awesome looking reef in the background
what to use for larger aquariums? im using 2 1 1/4 inch return lines and there are no nozzles anywhere, i guess ill have to make my own

Are you guys posting the 2018 MACNA talks? Was really looking forward to seeing those!
What about the 1/4 size for nano tanks?
Which one fits the redsea Max E 170 on the return head

@@BRStv Thank u
Which ones will fit an innovative marine 30 Long tank pump and return?
What happens if u go over the gph? Will the flow pattern change?
Joseph Pettit no. I talked to the guys at their booth and it just has more punch when the flow changes
@@levibaur6776 thank u
Would anti siphon holes in the loc-line be a problem for these?
No this would not be a problem!
How well do those hold up since they are 3d printed
The one I had lasted me over a year. I took down the tank (upgrade) before anything happened to the nozzle itself
