Definitely a brand to consider when we will run our sole treadmill to the ground. I believe it's at least 10 years old, we changed the back roller this year so we are slowly looking at options on a new one. Thank you J for the review!
No problem! I would say 10 years is pretty good for a treadmill lasting this long. With the high amount of orders for gym equipment this year, it took me about a month to actually get it in my hands and some have sold out. Treadmill technology has come a long way too. Who would think you can put a screen on a running machine 10 years ago.
Just got the 2021 NT Commercial 1750 and it's fantastic - very robust. They dropped it off in the garage and opened the box and took it in piece by piece - BUT the main running deck is extremely heavy as you said. I managed to turn it sideways and get it into my house - but OMG that was the heaviest things I have tried to move. I'll post a review soon also..
😆 yeah that was a workout moving that thing. Luckily I was able to convince them to bring it up inside the house. Make sure you register the machine within 30 days for the warranty. Hope everything works out good for you!
The commercial 1750 is sold out here in Canada. They will get them in only December. So I got the 2020 960i Flexselect. Just finished building it last night and seems like a good quality machine. Im 5"6 and find the panel very high, wished it was lower. Machine is super heavy, I needed to push in my house using my SUV.
Hey Mike, congrats on the Flexselect. Every NordicTrack seems to be on back order as this year everyone has been purchasing gym equipment. That looks very similar to the now T Series. I completely understand how heavy that thing could be. I had to push it in that crate in order for it to move and getting it off the wood stands was painful enough. I'm about your height too and luckily i can tilt my screen so i can see better. Hope your enjoy the machine!
The price of the 2021 Commercial 1750 just came down to $1,799 (it was $1,999 beginning of January). I requested price difference refund and they did. It is scheduled to arrive today.
@@RunWithJ I did the support thing with IFit yesterday. They told me the removed the feature to support more IFit stuff. I was counting on using my iWatch.
Good luck Cheryl! You probably will need some help with moving it. Just keep in mind NordicTrack has clauses in their warranty about placing the equipment in the garages I believe so if anything goes wrong they might not cover it. I think it has to do with potential weather or water damage etc. My running deck also cracked after 4 months so I’m getting that replaced.
@@RunWithJ Your deck cracked?!! How was dealing with Nordictrack to get someone to replace it? On the fence with buying this. Really concerned about customer service with these treadmill companies.
Hey Janelle! Yeah I was surprised too but when I heard scratching sounds from my belt I knew something was wrong. I put my hand under and there was a huge gash down the middle almost from top to bottom. I called their support number and the guy was easy to work with. They ordered me a new deck which is $180. They said it comes with very good instructions that I can install myself so we’ll see. I’ll call a tech over if it’s too much since I still have warranty. I’m hoping it’s just mines but it’s concerning that this deck broke when the whole purpose of this machine is to run on it. I think the replacement deck won’t be here for a few weeks.
Thanks for the review. I recently got the 1750, and it's been running fine, but for long runs, it shuts down at 3 hrs (not that I'm on for that long very often, but cut my workout short). Have you had this "issue" and do you know of a setting?
Thanks GT! I’ve actually never been on it for more than 3 hours. It shouldn’t just shut down like that. NordicTrack is starting to worry with all these issues customers are facing. Maybe I should’ve gotten a peloton😀. I don’t think there’s any setting to adjust when the treadmill shuts down. My running board broke so I just got a replacement sent to me after a month later. I would message NT to see if this is a known issue.
I just tested it out and it just works after i put my hands on it for a few seconds. I usually do manual mode and heart rate is one of the stats on there. I’m hoping it’s not something with the wiring that might be throwing yours off during installation. I would try to update the system if available or if it’s still not working try to speak to technical support.
Hi Great review. Any idea if the treadmill can connect to Zwift directly. Is the Bluetooth only for the music or it can be used to output speed data to Zwift. Thanks again.
Unfortunately not directly. You can if you use a foot pod or outside tool like tread tracker. Bluetooth is only for music from devices unfortunately. I use it to play my music on my phone directly. Nordictrack like other brands have their own closed ecosystem
Hey Michael. It took me I would say 4-5 hours but I was going pretty slow and took breaks. I was also doing it by myself. It took me a couple hours to get it off of the wood stilts because I made the mistake of building it on top of it and the thing is super heavy with everything put together. The instructions are very clear and all the screw parts are labeled very well. Also there were a few good assembly videos on TH-cam that I watched too to accompany the paper instructions.
Very informative Thanks. I'm just wondering about the running programs. Are they all on ifit? Or does the treadmill come with it's own programs? And how challengeing are they?
There are pre boarded workouts if you choose not to use iFit. I believe there's about 30-40. They aren't as nice and detailed as lessons you get in iFit but they are good enough for simple workouts. They range in difficulty so there's really slow pace ones and there are also fast ones.
I got this in 2020 so I’m not sure if they had a new model that year but they might’ve fixed some technical issues and I think they added a bigger 10 inch he screen and quieter incline motor.
Update on the treadmill. After having it for about 4 months the board on the treadmill has cracked under the belt. I thought something was wrong when i started hearing noises. Terrible quality for such an expensive equipment. Going to have to deal with support now.
Yeah I don’t blame you. I’m first hand experience of things going wrong and the price for extended warranty is little crazy. I also have to install the running deck myself once it comes.

I am considering the 1750 for my first treadmill. I notice in reviews that the screen seems slow to load and refresh when navigating and starting programs. Granted, I'm used to an iPad Pro, but do you find the system seems "laggy"?
The system is slow when booting up. It takes a couple of minutes to boot up from off to ready to go. The touch screen isn't as smooth or responsive as an ipad. It does have like a one second lag when you select some options but it isn't horrible. I mostly do manual so it's pretty straight forward but the classes and going through the screens definitely can be smoother in my opinion. Other than that the machine is good but unfortunately mines had a bad running deck which broke in 4 months.
Is there a HUGE difference between the 1750 vs 2450 aside from the 3.75Hp motor on the 1750 and the 4Hp motor from the 2450 (also screen size). I ordered the 2450 from amazon but was sent the 1750 on accident. They offered to either send me the 2450 as a replacement or just refund me the difference in price ($500). The wait for a 2450 could be up to 2 months apparently so I just want to know if it's actually worth it to wait or if I should just get my refund in price difference and stick with the 1750.
Hey Jonathan, Honestly I would take the refund. I think you named the big differences and if screen size and and the on board workout programs are not that that big of a deal then you should be happy with the 1750. Also I can’t imagine having to deal with lugging that heavy thing back and forth for returns. A 3.0 HP chip is usually more than enough for above average faster running.

I did notice very little shaking as you go up past 8-9 speed but it's nothing where it affects you while you run. The belt and platform was solid, it's just the other parts like the handles and a little bit of the screen but it's nothing to worry about. Running that fast on a machine there's bound to be some movement. Having a mat under your treadmill really helps minimize the shaking. I didn't have a full mat when i got it because they were sold out but once i got it, everything was solid. The mat on NordicTrack costs $50 and it's like a thin yoga mat.
