  • Wetlands are ecosystems found on Earth that are covered with water for most of the year.
In this video, I cover the difference between a swamp which has trees and a marsh that mainly has grass and reeds.
I also cover a bog that receives on rain or snow and fen that has a water source feeding it.

Had to pull this up for my 1st grader's science home-class while they are doing half/school half/home. I hadn't even heard of a fen before and didn't know the difference between these. Well done. Thanks.

    The dialogue in
    🎮God of War Ragnarok
introduced me to the term bog. Curiosity brought me to this video.

I appreciate the effort. I really do. This might be suitable for a school project but this could use a much more intense description. More examples and explaining the differences between them so I could with little effort explain or describe the sort of wet land I visited. From your video I am 100% sure the place I went was not a marsh, but I am confused if it was a swamp, bog, or fen. Geographical location relevance, climate or weather dependency and other stuff that might be small but is in fact important.

talking about pH helps.. I believe the site I went is a fen. Im certain that it was a pit once, I also know it has neutral pH! I guess it can be call a spring has the water comes from the underground.
      =fen!! thanks!

I had trouble understandjng many of the important words because the reader often drops the end of his sentences into a low, soft, "fry"... the trending speech fashion...which drives me nuts.
