I don't know why but I always ignore the super brightly colored individually packaged cheap snacks section. Sharla introduced me to Black Thunder from one of them so maybe I ought to give more of them a try! lol
I do the same thing dude. The brightly boxed section is a turn off, I go for meal type things, not so much the artificial looking snacks, though they certainly can be good.
I really used to like 'tangy fruits' they used to sell them in the movie theaters in new zealand... frozen pineapple lumps are good too. Oooh and those feijoa lollies they sell in dairies are super good too (The actually taste like feijoa!!!! ).
Im going to japan in 3 weeks! :3 I wish I could meet up with you or sharla or any other youtubers there. you guys are awesome and inspiring me to teach english there after college!

I know this music isn't to everyone's taste, but I'm curious: would you guys prefer I used the royalty free music most other TH-camrs use? Do viewers prefer that? I always go out of my way, sometimes so far out of my way that I have to go through a lengthy process of proving I have permission to use the music, to provide something more than the usual royalty free tunes. Getting these kind of comments makes me wonder if people actually want to hear the same music on every youtuber's videos... I'm actually putting my channel on the line by doing this, since TH-cam doesn't take kindly to it.
***** Sorry, didn't know that this has been mentioned before, It just seemed like an odd fit in this video. It's not even a matter of taste, I would totally listen to this. I'd prefer this music over something that you've heard in someone else's video, if that's what you're asking. The dood above me says it pretty well: after everything, the most important thing is content, which there is a lot of in this video. Music should compliment the content, not overpower it. There are a TON of royalty free music websites out there if you're okay with crediting the artist, so don't make it sound like there's only a couple of songs to pick from (I'm guessing you're talking about what youtube gives out)

I love your videos and the content you put out, and that's why I check out your vids! Electro music is always a plus, but I'm coming back to your videos regardless of your music choice :) Just as long as the music doesn't overpower the video itself like Hedgeyy said.
Hedgeyy I'm not talking about what youtube offers, actually. It's not that easy to find good music for free, which is why I often buy the rights to use music. That's just how much I love music :) Thanks for the opinion, I appreciate it. I just enjoyed this track so much it made the editing process fun. I can see how it's not a perfect fit for a dagashiya tho.

When I was little, it was cool to eat those candy cigarettes. There were even "chewing tobacco" bubble gum. I'm pretty sure we don't sell those in America any more. My favorite cute candies were those Hello Panda biscuits with the chocolate filling. I now just like to drink wine from a red liquorice straw... x3
New York here! I can find most of these at the Japanese markets I go to. Lately, I have been hooked on the Glico ice-cream cone looking snacks. Know which ones I mean. They look like ice-cream cones and come in Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate flavors. Caplico sells them too. :P
Ah the Ramune ラムネ , forgive me if that's wrong my Japanese is bad...still learning. It's my absolute favorite drink, saw some hello kitty stuff I think its the same out here in the states, looks the same any way. Enjoyed the video by way...PDR was funny as usual.
I've had that gum that's those little square packages. But didn't see anything I can get here though. I can get Hello Panda, Hi-Chew and Botan Rice Candy at my local, throughly-non-Japanese grocery store though for some odd reason (not complaining though because those are my favorite Japanese candies I've had so far.) I really want to eat that one from Shin Chan though, the green one with the purple crocodile on it. Never occurred to me that they would actually make it into a real product. But I need to try it now -_-
Candy cigarettes! Can't get them in the UK anymore..well not like they used to be. They are now called Candy Sticks, they don't have the lifelike red colouring on the end.
