I've gotten it well over 20,000 MPH. Never gotten that zeroed-out speedo before. After around 430 MPH, the speed kicks up again and you start accelerating like 50 MPH per second.
those things you called 'winglets' are called spoilers on an aircraft, and the 'reversing mechanism' is called the reverser, and directs thrust produced by the engines, in the opposite direction, *reversing the direction the engine propels, and acting as a brake.*
Connor Johnson as I said a slightly modified E2 class tank engine that is owned by the North Western railway company and its owner known as Sir Topham Hatt
Hmm, seems that it's built to show only up to 720km/h (or 200m/s) maximum, which works out as just a touch under 448mph. Very strange to put an arbitrary limit on like that, it's certainly not the more usual and expected binary overflow...
I have a jet train design that looks MUCH different than that jet train as seen here. The engine is place INFRONT of the cab(so it can possibly protect the driver from a crash), its reverse thrusters would help stop the train much quicker than standard emergency brakes alone(it's recommended to use emergency brakes & reverse thrusters at the same time), it has driven wheels(usually 3-C or C-C) so it can accelerate much quicker, and its got 2 throttles: The true throttle controls the engine, while the wheel(or traction motor) throttle controls the traction motors & the drive wheels. For best stopping results: Bring the wheel throttle all the way to idle, then engage the emergency brake, 3rd engage the reverse thruster, 4th bring the engine throttle to Notch 8(so that the reverse thruster can do its job), last engage the flaps(carefully). The engine is going to be smaller(so it can fit in an engine compartment), and the train runs on diesel(Diesel engines have a higher air to fuel ratio than their gasoline counterparts of the same size). The front truck would be upfront like a typical American diesel locomotive.
I feel like he doesn't know any of the terminology involved. First of all, aircraft use reverse thrust by redirecting the air flow through the engine so it goes forward, thus slowing said aircraft down. That is what the "reverse mechanism" is. Also, the "winglets" are actually airbrakes, which generate drag, slowing the vehicle down. Sorry for the (probably) paragraph of a comment. I just noticed that the terminology needed correcting.
TH-cam's algorithms... I watched some aviation related things and stranded here. Those "winglets" you mention would actually serve as spoilers here to maximize the drag, disturbing the aerodynamical flow (if there's one, because it looks not very aerodynamic to me). Another thing to add: this engine can't be a Triple Seven (B777) engine, because thrust reverse is not engaged this way in a 777. Looks to me more like a MD80 (but they would deploy vertically there) or a 737... Reverse thrust in a Triple Seven is archieved by somewhat like a sliding door on the engines outer cover going back and an intern flaps mechanism which forces the air to turn around. EDIT: one thing that seems fairly unnecessary here are those horizontal stabalizers, because the would result in lift - the train would take off the ground. So, it would need something known from Formula 1 race cars --> spoilers to archieve somewhat like negative lift.
Also it appears there a collision not in the ground in game it is controlled by were the tracks are placed and it sets a set amount of collision near it to allow it so that if you de rail you can have a ground collision while at the same time saving memory space but with the jet train it goes so fast it flies off the collision mesh and promptly falls into a void and trust me I have my fair share of video game inner workings
that annoys me, probably more than it should, it annoys me because he has basically copied someone, he has copied someone, and that shows no creativity, no skill at being imaginative, pathetic really

Callum Beatson jjj
It has coupling?...well ive found my new express engine
nah, your express engine is the super class 47
Flashback to 2006. This thing was fucking hilarious in MSTS. Go so fast the map can't load enough to keep up.
"bloody hell,that thing is fast!"
what my classmates say when the sport teacher puts me to run 50m
That thing goes the SPEED OF LIGHT🛸🛸🛸🛸🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕😷😷😷😷😷😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐😱😱😱😨😨😱😨😱😨😱😨😱😨😱😨
The jet train was actually imported from Microsoft train simulator onto train simulator
Good luck
Those "reverse flaps" are called reversers which redirect the air the opposite way through the engine
Shut up people like you are what youtube will be better without
Corrupted Cam more like corrupted kid you brain dead bitch he was just saying. People like you are dumbasses.
In fact your jealous that we are smart
firstly, a 777 engine has the width of a 737 fuselage (should be a lot bigger)
also, the reverse thrust mechanism is different
No wtf it doesn't the GE9x has the with of a 737 fuselage
Znek yes. It does
MAX SPEED OF JET TRAIN..... FREAKING HYPERSPACE!
DOES BECOME A PRESIDENT
it's not hyperspace, it's WARP DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (rrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)
All of you are wrong its actually *M A X I M U M O V E R D R I V E*
you have not watched star trek...
It's not hyperspace its hyper speed
those things you called 'winglets' are called spoilers on an aircraft, and the 'reversing mechanism' is called the reverser, and directs thrust produced by the engines, in the opposite direction, *reversing the direction the engine propels, and acting as a brake.*
Awesome video! I love how your growing so fast because you deserve it
wow thanks man
Hi love vids
AWSOME
Do tornado v daylight pls
Pls pls🙂🙂🙂🙂
how do you get the jet train
LaZeR JET do the super class 47 next
Barake Alexander super class 47 v jet train.
Super class 47 can't be beaten.
he is the UK Stig been eating to much fish and chips lol
euehrr77
2:55 Me running away from Christian server admins after accidentally saying "heck".
lol
Me when I speed from the cops
Grrrrrr
Grrrrrr

"It's not a very good horn." It's a horn often found on BC Rail locomotives in Canada. I think it sounds very accurate.
You should put it behind one of the other steam engines
So tru
Perhaps a slightly modified e2 tank engine
Thomas and the jet engine
Connor Johnson as I said a slightly modified E2 class tank engine that is owned by the North Western railway company and its owner known as Sir Topham Hatt
/ minifigamer / The Fat Controller
Do Mallard vs the jet train but give Mallard a 10 min head start.
A 10 hour headstart
Peashooter 35000 Chomper543 I think it's a great idea for a video
Peashooter 35000 Chomper543 yes he should do mallard vs this thing but actually give it a 20min start
Peashooter 35000 Chomper543 I WAS GONNA SAY THAT
10 century head start
Dude thats a awesome video that deserves 900000 likes
thanks man
your welcome
Man:where’s my phone?
Jet train:PEW
Man:AW CRAP
4:23. That laugh was too funny.
It's a clown laugh
4:25
MeeperMcFive NO
2x speed is better LMAO
It's November, and Thomas finally got here.
Train phases through the ground: Him: acts like nothing happened
You just earned a new sub because your content is amazing
neat new vid entry. your channel is the best
OMFG that's quick great video mate

No wonder it's from a 777. It is unstoppable!
Germans make quality bangers

Nice and technical just the way I like it
WOW NO WAY! This thing is from the first microsoft train simulator
that speed is the amount of likes u should have
I love your intro music.
How dare you insult our eating habits!
Pretty sure this was at one point part of msts.
You’re awesome LaserJet
Anyone from nerdcubed see that intro
Thatcommenter 64 yep
yes. it just blatantly copied aint it

You should do the rocket train vs the maglev in a race
That is amazing fast! Faster than light!
"bonkers-ly insane." to an American that is funny
OMG that was EPIC loved it
I love your music intro
The top speed is the average plane speed at 475kts
TH-cam's algorithms... I watched some aviation related things and stranded here. that jet is the most powerful engine ever strapped to a plane, the GE90-115B
There are 2 of these in a Boeing 777-300ER/200LR/F airplane.
The derailment is extremely wrong.......the train must destroy the buffer and move ahead....!!😂😂
In the UK in the 70s they did attach jet engines to a train... Not as big as this of course but they did. Look up APT-E.
Isn't that from msts?
Your laugh is priceless.
If people survive real life plane crashes then how do you get a 100% chance of dying if you crash the jet train?
Nathan Zhang probably because when it derails it rolls over and in real life would probably explode
It actually has a speed cap but I have to dig in the game files for the engine to see what it is
Also it appears there a collision not in the ground in game it is controlled by were the tracks are placed and it sets a set amount of collision near it to allow it so that if you de rail you can have a ground collision while at the same time saving memory space but with the jet train it goes so fast it flies off the collision mesh and promptly falls into a void and trust me I have my fair share of video game inner workings
It was a Dutchman who thought of this.
Get the Super Class 47 it is BONKERS!
“Sup procrastinators” really? Coping Nerd Cubed? Your kidding right?
good to see you are uploding ts 2016/2017 agen can you do more vidios on that slope and races that are acualy fair and lisen to your coments thanks
It reached 445mph right before the speedometer showed 0.0mph.
Introducing the new sonic.
Jet train top speed: infinity, Eurostar:200, javelin:140, class 377:100, class 465:75.
That went batter than I thought it would, says laser jet *Jet train goes through ground* anything's better than that...
This engine is a General Electric GE-90
The jet train was actually build in The Russien in World war 2 Mr Oliver
Jet train 🚂 if turn 100% death
Haha this guy sounds like one of 3 people:
1.FrankieOnPC
2.Richard Hammond
3.Vikstar123
Lmao man 😂😂
4:02
The speedometer glitches out at 447, resets to 0 and won't show anything faster
The engine is a General Electric GE90 engine.
1:50 Reverse thrust and also 2:03 not winglets, airbrakes
How do you make the race track in your gameplays?
pls tell me
Japenese make fast things, Germans build long lasting things
The first thing you say in the video is Hello Procrastinators are u trying to rip off Nerd cubed or something
The speedometer broke at 448 mph (around 720 km/h).
4:18😅😅😅
This thing is made by a Dutchman you know. He made it for the shits and giggles.
This jet engine is running in the 90s
LaZeR JET What type of computer or pc do you use? I play Train Simulator 2017 on my laptop but it's a bit laggy.
Top readable speed: 447 MPH.
Real top speed: ♾
GE90 with JT8D reversers lol
What Clarkson's sports train should've been
How Clarkson imagined his Sports train:
I know this jet train was originally created for Microsoft Train Simulator. I don't know who the creator was, or why.
You'd better get yourself a dry pair of trousers.
Nice intro
So it took you 10 minutes @450mph, a 45mph steam train would take 10 times as much. That's a solid 1hour 40minutes. But not till October.
WInglet! Hahhahahah! There called air brakes
Bob Tom or ‘spoilers’
Oceanic Aviation Nope air brakes, they don't spoil lift here
Oceanic Aviation, morr like NOceanic Aviation.
Bob Tom *they're
Try to put something like wagons behind it.
hmm, i know what thomas would do with this but the question is...
What would spencer do?
*super class 47 enters the game*
It looks so funny with the wings
How do we get the jet train?
6:16 I'm watching it in October
The speedometer cut out at 447-448 mph
Copies need cubed and just uses the ts intro as an intro...
that annoys me, probably more than it should,
it annoys me because he has basically copied someone, he has copied someone, and that shows no creativity, no skill at being imaginative,
pathetic really
The_Wildfish_101 01 no it was his old intro
it's supposedly abbile to go over 4000 mph/kmh
This thing's that you call winglets are air brakes but it's an awesome train
OMG The Jet Just Is Very Fast!
When the speedometer broke it was going about 455 MPH
Hmm, its max speed is probably around 600-2k mph.
(Dis is a prediction, "dont h8 m8")
You need Cliff Jump 2 and the Super Class 47.
WHAT KIND OF DEVICE/COMPUTER DO U NEED TO GET THIS GAME?
2022 Top Speed The GE90🚂✈
How many G's is that?
"bloody hell" thats australian right there
