ohh that sounds like the perfect viewing setup! 😍 so very glad that the video could be a part of your cozy moment, I love crocheting to videos too and some soothing tea is always a must! 🤗
A gorgeous collection! And I agree, the tactile element of a cover is really important to me too! Currently I am loving my leather covers and the texture or the imperfections in the leather. I loved seeing these beautiful Hobonichi covers! Thank you
yes to the wonderful tactility of covers, and you've reminded me that I'd love to do a video on the leather covers I have so far! it is just as you've said, it is so lovely to feel the texture and imperfections of the leather ~ hooray for these beautiful covers to keep us company!
oh thank you so much, I am so glad that you enjoyed! 🤗 I love hearing what makes others gravitate towards certain covers and designs, and I wanted to share the same!
what a nice collection! i started using hobonichi this year and somehow ended up adding a few of older covers in my wishlist. im definitely excited for the new covers this yeat since its my first year 🩵
aw thank you so much, and how exciting! I remember when I started using hobonichi and how fun it was to experience the new cover lineup being announced one by one in August ~ wishing you that same delight this year (and starting very soon among hobonichi's announcements, I think!), and it'll be so fun to see what we all think of the new designs! 🤗❤
Feel you with the "the more I thought about the lineup, the more it was calling to me" *waving their willow tree cover as well* 😄 Again, such a nice, warm, comforting video, such a joy to watch, and even more so to listen. 😌Thank you!
Do you scotchguard your covers? Like you would with canvas shoes? I just wonder if this helps with the soiling of the fabrics. Like you I love to feel the fabrics, I am a tactile person too. Thank you for sharing your beautiful covers and have a lovely day :)
@@joyofstationery Hi. Thanks for this video. I’ve admired the swallows cover since it came out, and today, on impulse really, I got hold of the last one in an online a shop here in the U.K. I was going to ask about whether it takes the cover on cover, and like you I can see how it might spoil the tactile experience of the fabric. As I was watching I also thought about scotchguard. I wanted to tell you that I used scotch guard on Hobonichi fabric covers before, such as a Liberty fabric cover, with no ill effects, so it might well be the way to go. I will probably do it when my swallows cover arrives. Thanks for the video! It’s always helpful to get other people’s ideas on these things.
the zip cover does feel a bit bulky for me, honestly, but I wonder if it's a matter of needing to get used to it! it is a bit bigger, which does mean that thicker notebooks can fit inside, and I believe that does include the A6 HON if you were interested!
I love that mina blue and white bird one!!! And I have loved it for a long while now!!!! Definitely want it one day, hopefully!!! ❤
Jennifer,
I’m so cozy right now watching your video while working on a crochet project and sipping on wild chrysanthemum tea 😊
Lola ❤

Is the zip cover too thick?
