1) I gathered data from Danganronpa wiki.
2) Created a template in Adobe After Effects.

This is what I responded to a comment but I will state it here.This is for everyone still confused about Kokichi’s zodiac(yes it’s copy and pasted, but it’s lengthy so if you want you can skip to the summary-)
Hey so I only got into the Danganronpa fandom in June, and as a person into astrology(thought not an expert necessarily)who also was interested in Kokichi’s character I looked into that and can answer(and yes I also have the same birthday as him if that helps-).This will probably end up longer than I intended, but please bear with me.On days such as June 21st where the sun transits signs, depending on the time place and year you will be one of the two signs, having a cusp of the other sign that you barely missed.From what I’ve heard he is officially stated to be a gemini, and though we do not know his birth time, since the 21st is a day where it is a possible to be either sign him being a gemini is not out of the question.I tested this out by playing around with different signs on a sun sign calculator and it proved true.Based on a tweet Kodaka made on his birthday he should be born in the year 2000, and though we don’t know his exact birth time and area in Japan upon testing this supports the official statement.That being said, even though a lot of people think of it as Gemini:May 21st-June 20th or Gemini:may 21st-June 20th with cancer:June 22nd-July 22nd or Cancer:June 21st to July 22nd think of it as Gemini:May 21st-June 21st and Cancer:June 21st-June 22nd.The sun does not necessarily transit to another sign at midnight, it does so later depending on the area oftentimes.Normally it is not needed but on these days birthtime is crucial to tell which.I myself before getting into astrology though I was a cancer but when I noticed there was some debate on June 21st being gemini or cancer I looked into it and found that it can be either.I was born at 4 AM in New York, thus my sun is gemini.Since Kokichi was officially stated to be a gemini that’s solved, however if he was not there wouldn’t be a way to ever tell, and this means he was probably born sometime before the sun shifted to cancer.I’m sorry for making that so long-but hey if you bothered to read this then cudos-

-In general what many people that don’t really know much about astrology aside from maybe stereotypes and the seasons though there is some debate is that on the day when the sun transits to another sign it does not necessarily transfer at midnight sharp.I for instance was born on June 21st, 4 AM, and considering my birthplace and year as well, I am a gemini.With all this I think it is safe to say Kokichi is a gemini on the cusp of cancer.As much as he acts like a gemini this alone would not be enough of an explanation though ig that’s a but of a bonus for me-along with rantaro’s lab which seems to hint at him since kokichi had a horse in his room and his surname means horse king-and the other part was gemini for some reason-coincidence maybe though
@Yominum Yeah they don’t and for that reason I don’t like when people justify their actions or define themselves a bit too much based on their zodiac.I’m one of those people kind of into astrology that doesn’t genuinely believe in or base my life around it though it can be a bit funny at times I suppose-Plus if you’ve ever heard of the “forer effect” astrology is just something that I guess gives some people a sort of validation or connection a bit like personality tests and I don’t encourage people to get obsessed with it though their choice-I just find it a bit entertaining at times and when I saw the controversy kinda wanted to give my take on it
@Yominum seriously harassing you?That’s so immature on their side smh I mean to be fair it isn’t the first time people have taken topics like that too extreme but as you’ve said there’s only 12 zodiacs and you can’t control your data of birth like if I’m being honest a bunch of people mention how they relate to their zodiac but I’m quite certain that if they were born on any other day with another zodiac they would still find a way to somehow relate which just goes to show how with these sorts of things people sometimes create connections just for that validation or based on very generalized statements.The zodiacs have very distinct stereotypes which I like to mock at times but when people actually start fighting about them It’s annoying

I made a comment about this but lemme try to sum it up.From what I know he’s officially stated to be a gemini and on days such as June 21st where the sun transits into another sign, depending on birthtime, place, and year, you can be either sign(in this case gemini or cancer) with a cusp side of the other you barely missed.So basically when people debate about his sign I’ve seen a very small amount acknowledge that on the 21st you can be either depending on birthtime with most either stubbornly saying that he’s a cancer because June 21st is an only cancer day or that cancer season starts June 22nd and that he’s a gemini.The best way to think of it would be Gemini:May 21st-June 21st Cancer:June 21st-July 22nd.If his sign was not stated to be a gemini this would be something impossible to figure out and you’d just have to head canon his sign without knowing if it’s true, but luckily it was confirmed.(and if you ask how it was confirmed tbh I didn’t know until I really looked into it.I noticed many people stated he is officially stated to be a gemini like at least 10 which they must’ve had a reason for and I also saw this pencil case merch of him and Shuichi having both their zodiac signs which a virgo Shuichi lover that I follow on twitter said is official-)

Depending on when the summer solstice took place the year he was born, Kokichi could be either one. Cusps are tricky, and only hardcore astrologers make the distinction. Frankly, Gemini suits Kokichi on the surface, but Cancer also works considering how he was willing to sacrifice himself to end the game.
