Building a great pigeon loft isn't as easy as you might think. There was a lot of planning and research that went into my new loft build and I'm going to share all the things we took into consideration when approaching this build. Follow along as I show off my pigeons' new crib, just like on MTV.

The crib looks awesome idea add a solar panel running a small vent fan for hot summer days help keep it fresh if there’s stagnant air

Hey Ethan! Has your “must have” list changed since this video? I have a small loft started and gathering info and this video was helpful.

I race in a few One loft Races and just finished my loft and I think you may have a problem with the hardware cloth. It will clog up fairly quickly or you will have to pressure wash it to eliminate clogging. What I would do is dig a small trench around the base of your loft and so that it looks nice I would use lattice and put hardware cloth behind it and bury the bottom of the hardware cloth and that will illuminate issues and still allow droppings to fall through. My birds are direct from David Clausing and GFL and Morningside Racing loft.

You have to build a screen door and put a hook to hold the solid door open. Your birds will get more air and light. Close it at night and in bad weather.

Where did you get that floor grating material? I have been looking for exactly that for a loft of my own.

Vapor barrier under the steel.
