He also had the worst fg% of any player in the discussion for top anything and straight up blew the finals for his team a few times, had terrible final performances overall and was less than average for clutch shots. All while being an arrogant ballhog who took outlandishly difficult shots his whole career and failing to pass to wide open teammates. And that includes Shaq at his hottest during the finals.

Thank You for these videos. I've been a Lakers fan since birth and I've seen a lot of great basketball. I was in kindergarten when they won in 1980, my dad watched it on TV but I was playing with my Star Wars toys. In '87 we went to the mall and I was so mad cause the Finals were on, so I went to the electronics section of Sears and watched Magic hit that baby hook for the win and was celebrating like crazy. I was actually at Kobe's first game albeit preseason at Fresno St. Saw a couple games at the Forum and went to the Staples Center a handful of times even a playoff game. And basketball hasn't been the same to me since the Mamba retired and even more so when he left this earth. Even when we got Lebron and won it just felt different. I still and always will bleed purple and gold so I thank you for the cool trip down memory lane. 🤘🏼🐍💜💛

So glad I got to watch Jordan and Kobe in their primes. Kobe's death hit me harder than any other celebrity or sports figure. I still can't believe he is gone. RIP Mamba you are the #2 GOAT and it isn't even close. What a fucking phenom!

@Aldijan3r PBUH Blessings to you and your family! in the world there is only one God Allah and the truth is Christians stole their religion from other religions and tried to erase them from history.

The game was never the same after Kobe left, he was the last one to play with that killer instinct which made the 90’s and 2000’s so fun, now you’d be hard pressed to find an NBA player who isn’t a complete diva

Bean was cold, man literally reinvented himself throughout his career and regardless if you loved or hated him, he was dropping 25+ on your team & close the game w/ a W. Playing and being top 5 in the consistently tough and stacked Western Conference throughout your whole career is what made him legendary. Easily the 2nd greatest laker after the captain & it’s pretty close.

I gotta admit my reluctancy to watch highlights of my guy since 2020 in fear of shedding tears. He was my favorite player forreal from 2000 on. Damn.

Can’t believe it’s been 4 years since he passed, me and my family cried so much when it hit the news and social media because he was just amazing at basketball. Everyone including me in LA was crying.
