Indian audience is actually immature, maybe because of the lack of exposure to vulgur cinema, like there are many films/anime's/web series which are way too much vulgur and violent than animal like american psyco, John wick, wrong turn, Berserk💀 etc but people are only targeting vanga because of some reasons like:
1) Animal and Kabir singh are bollywood movies and it has become a trend of criticising bollywood
2) People only see films for its hype moments, Actors or SENSE things, they dont look after context, depth, characters, acting, direction etc
3) the audience doesnt actully try to feel or understand the process, context or depth of the films, they see films as if they are reading a summary of a book, therefore people are only criticising that films has vulgur stuff and all, whereas completely ignoring the good parts like good direction, acting, story depth and all
4) also nowadays Feminism is a huge trend, and this movie contrasts it, therefore the criticism exists
5) There are many movies like KGF and Psuhpa which glorifies goons, literal chapri goon, i mean ofcoursre Rocky and Pushpa look very stylish and rocking in the film, but honestly tell me if in reality you act like them in public will that be considered stylish or dashing, ofcourse not, but people are not criticising them because the main context is different, they are not promoting goons but wants to show some good unique direction and directors creativity, similar case with vanga, he wants to express his full creativity and the violent thoughts and ideas on screen, every director has his differenr vision and we should appreciate such variety of existance the directors make
But people will always blindly criticise the film on the basis of judgemental reels and criticising critics
Overall i am not saying that things shown in the film are right, but its clear that Film is A rated, name is ANIMAL, its meant to show the ultimate vulgur limits a man can create for him , you cant expect disney level good message from a horror movie right, similarly with the film, its meant to show bad things, also many people say that the main hero wasnt punished, well i think its not true because his wife left him, his 2 cousins d*ed, we also know what happened with his father and there is more yet to come in animal park
