I have seen videos of Ukrainian men in Europe walking around fully covered in Ukrainian attributes such as flags/badges etc and screaming ''death to Putin'' and when asked the question why don't you go and fight they something like : I am helping here or I do volunteer work etc 😀I swear to GOD if I was in this situation and I wasn't on the front lines I would keep my mouth shut and lay as low as possible instead of walking around looking like a patriot of my country thousand miles away from the front lines.

Exactly ! A lot of non resident Ukrainians putting up videos saying the Russians have lost a million men and a zillion tanks and are about to surrender, are peddling false hope and its terrible if they are doing that to Ukrainians who have chosen to stay back in Ukraine.

I had some 17 year olds in my platoon on my 1st deployment in 2003.They could go to Iraq in the Infantry but couldn't even buy dip or cigarettes at home.

@@aetius9 A small BUK, OSA or Avenger would have been enough to protect the site against Drones, and maybe add a little SHORAD to help against Missiles. The earlier HIMARS batteries normally rolled around with a BUK, but after the supply crunch the Soviet AD is gone.

We know what those Buks are capable of, but Ukraine doesn't have the latest modifications of Russians air defense systems. And we don't know what the capabilities of western counterparts are. There may have been a nasams in the vicinity but it just didn't work.
Given how often the most important targets are hit, it seems like a systemic vulnerability of some sort

In Poland there were Ukrainian men demonstrating with banners "Not our war". Sacrificing young Ukrainian men in a war already lost is criminal. Ukrainian Legion to be formed in Poland has no men volunteering to join it. Zelenski wants NATO to win this war for him, he doesn't care about Russian nukes. NATO army stores are emptied, Polish Army has no ammo to fight a couple of wild boars, war would be the last thing that Polish Army wants.

Now I know that there are many different types of cancer and therefore there are different ways to attack them.
I have seen and read about several cases of cancer that the patient himself cured by starving the tumor with fasting and nutrients.
If I had cancer, I would read some of the books written by these patients. There is a lot here on YT to share. I remember a Frenchman in particular who wrote a book about how he, among other things, fasting removed his fist-sized tumor completely disappeared in a few months. Cancer tumors live on sugar and carbohydrates and without them they cannot grow.

The SU 34 has been able to launch the Kinzhal missile since late 2023. The MIG 31could only launch the Kinzhal from 10 modified MIG 31.

What should definitely be noted is that the Kinzhal is not a pure ballistic missile.
Intercepting a ballistic missile is easier because it can no longer perform "real" flight maneuvers. Instead, its flight path follows a mathematically calculated (ballistic) curve.
This is exactly what most defense systems in use today are designed for.
As soon as flight maneuvers can be performed, however, all of these systems are no longer able to shoot down such missiles.
The Patriot system can attack maneuvering targets up to a certain speed and the much faster ballistic missiles.
So either slower but highly maneuverable or faster and ballistic.
BUT NOT fast and maneuverable!
But both the Iskander and the Kinzhal can do exactly that.

With regards to the war... the pattern seems to be setting. Unless something changes dramatically, Ukraine battle lines will start breaking down before any much needed manpower arrives. Ukraine is mostly causing indirect pain and damage, but doesn't seem to be able to stop the ground loss. This will probably have some significant morale implications as the months go by, including the entire war weariness and conscription issues. I would not be surprised for political instability to start rising more sharply.
This will be a pretty critical month.

There are plausible explanations/speculations for Biden canceling the summit, e.g., avoiding taking a position between some Eastern Europeans+UK+Zelensky wanting immediate entry of Ukraine into NATO (or, at the very least, long range missile strikes), and some other countries seeing either option as start of WWIII.
