  • Intentional Camera Movement is something I was pretty unaware of until I got a comment asking for a video doing it...So in classic Allikkx fashion, I rolled up my sleeves, donned my ND filter and headed out on the streets to capture some blur!
    Example Photos By:
    Andy S Gray - ‪@andrewsgray‬ (genuine inspiration for all photogs)
    Jen - ‪@anotherperspective3076‬ (crazy good creator)

      You’re welcome! 🙏
      It was a great idea and your comment got me looking into something I probably wouldn’t have for a long time! Yea I think it was mine too, at least it was the closest I felt I got to abstract art! 😂 thank you, I appreciate it 🙏

    Really digging the flower shots and last set with the building and bars worked really well.

      Thanks man! The flower shot get like the most arty! 😂 might be worth trying to keep up every now and then, was definitely different

    I love those photos can you tell me what settings you had on your camera I just subscribed

    • @Allikkx
      @Allikkx  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for subscribing, I didn’t really have one set of settings, but I kept my ISO at 100 and my aperture closed down to F11/16/or higher! If my shutter speed was still too short (less than maybe half a second/full second) then I’d pop the ND filter on and lose more light that way! 😊 hope that helps!

    Interesting technique! Daffodils in castle park were my favourite as well looked like a water colour painting! 🙌🏼

      Yea it was pretty interesting as a technique, I liked the painterly stuff more than I though I would! Definitely was worth trying out! 👌

      Thank you! It was a tonne of fun and really different way of looking at things, definitely a lot to learn about it still!

    You have to practice ! I also had trouble with this. But from a video the guy said you have to start from the lights (whites) dragging them into the darks ! I've never been so frustrated in my life taking pic.s so you not alone 💯 😂😂😂!! Keep snapping 👍!!

      @Allikkx  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea practice definitely makes better, I definitely think it’s worth experimenting though just because it’s fun and new! 🙌 glad I’m not alone in that one! 😂 you too! 👍

    Thanks. ICM is also interesting with flash lamp at night or even in daylight.

    • @Allikkx
      @Allikkx  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea I saw some people using flash to make some crazy cool things! Like in-camera double exposures 🤷‍♂️

    Some cool images here, well done!
    Some questions, Aperture Priority or Shutter Priority?
    ND filter to extend exposure time?
    IBIS on or off?
    Thanks again for the vid✌️ subbed btw…

      Thank you! It was definitely worth a try!
      It might not be right but I shot in fully manual, definitely needed an ND filter (I used a variable ND so I could control exposure and just left it on) and turned off stabilisation! Thanks for checking the video out, great to have you here! 🙏

    Hey, like any other genre of photography takes quite a few years and lots of practice to get it right. It is not something you do in one day, all the rules of photography apply here, and you will have a wonderful ICM image. Thanks for your video.

      Yea definitely something I want to try a few times over, just thought it was an interesting niche within photography I’d never tried before! Nothing compared with the amazing ICM phototube seen but can understand the attraction to it more now 😊

      @@Allikkx you could do it in the street 🤣

      @@Allikkx I'm here because I searched for ICM. I recently tried it, thinking it would be so easy, and it's not, lol. But I absolutely love it now, and am constantly seeing subjects that make for great abstract photos (my favourite one is just a leaf that was lying on the pavement). I really liked your favourite images of the day, very abstract expressionist feel to them.
