    It was true that the Ooni was the chief priest who later became king after the demise of Oduduwa. Oduduwa has nothing to do with Benin and Oramiyan has no Benin name, he was raised up and born in Ife and he was not the son of Oduduwa either, the step father of Oranmiyan was the first son of Oduduwa called Okanbi. The father and mother of Oramiyan were Yoruba people and the mother of Oramiyan already had Oramiyan for Ogun before she met Okanbi the son of Oduduwa. The real father of Oranmiyan was Ogun not the son of Oduduwa

    Oba of Benin is a stranger in Igomigodo. Oranmiyan or oduduwa has no linage with the Udu people. Ogianien still remain no 1 king in Edo state. He's the landlord. Oba Owomika ( Eweka) was mix blood.
    According to history, Ogiamien senior Oba of Benin, followed by Itsekiri then Oba of Benin the greatttttttttt grandson of Oranmiyan who was never related to the indigenous people but Benin fabricated that Oduduwa was the son of Ogiso who ran to Ile Ife. Oranmiyan was a warrior and a stranger in Utantan kingdom.

    Remember oduduwa had the title ooni too. Why? Because oduduwa was not an indigene of ife

    • @AIupclose
      @AIupclose 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am so disappointed this is coming from you a Yoruba, so you don't know anything about your history no wonder outsiders have the effrontery to spew lies and distort our history. Let me educate and enlighten you; All Obas in Yorubaland has titles that is distinct to their kingdoms. OONI = ILE-IFE, ALAFIN = OYO , AWUJALE = IJEBU, ALAKE = EGBA , DEJI = AKURE , OWA = IDANRE , EWI = ADO- EKITI. I can go on and on, all these title are unique to each kingdoms in Yorubaland. Does it mean that because of the titles these Obas are not indigenes of their land?

      @@AIupclose check all history about yorubas sir. There's no place you will see oduduwa is an idigene of ife. They always say he came from the east. Where in the east is unknown

    • @AIupclose
      @AIupclose 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Toyosi Oyejobi The east is known bro, do some digging. Oduduwa was a prince from somewhere around the Nile valley around Kemet (kush kingdom) of ancient Egypt. He was an unrepentant idol worshiper so when the Islamic revolution started in the middle east he was banished from his land and migrated down south to the present day ilè Ife. Research the Ga tribe of Ghana, they also migrated in similar fashion and landed in Ile Ife before proceeding to their current location in Accra. The Ga tribe are also Yorubas.

    • @toyosioyejobi309
      @toyosioyejobi309 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know how true this is. I say unknown because they mayy different stories. Some even say mecca or Sudan or even nupe /tapa region.. I for one think oduduwa is a yoruba man from the ondo region or so but definitely not an indigene of ife

    • @AIupclose
      @AIupclose 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes he was not an Ife indigene, Oduduwa came to ile-ife with his own entourage and they met the aboriginals there at Ile Ife. Many Yoruba scholars home and abroad has done extensive research and lots of affinities were revealed between Egypt and Yoruba cultures. My grandmother died 8yrs ago at age of 104yrs and she always told me we Yorubas migrated from Egypt because of war, that information has been passing down through her ancestors and same I will also tell my kids. The migration from Egypt/Nile valley is the most credible of all the stories since similar story can be heard from the Ga tribe in Ghana.

    Mr man Oduduwa our forefathers is not from Beinin, if Benin people looking for for their missing son they should find him somewhere else not Odusuwa, Oduduwa migrated from Mecca with his father called Lamorudu, along the way he lost his father , on gotten to Ile ife, he come along with some people not only him, he come with his crown , needs and all the O bas matwrial, to Ile ife, when the people in ile ife ask him who was his father he said , lamorudu, where he was coming from, he mention mecca, so how come you thrown your only price out for killing and you believe he is the one that was in ile ife?
    After 100 years, ?
    You should be demented all in Benin.
    OGODOMIGODO JAVE PRONLEMS OF KINGSHIP , THEY NEED KING , THEY CONTACT ILE IFE,, OROMIYAN OUR FATHER WAS A PRICE OF IFE, AND WAS GRANDCHILD OF ODUSUWA, AND WAS SENT TO GO AND HELP YOU OUT DROM YOUR MESS, WHEN HE CAME , AFTER SOME TIME WAS MADE TO BE FIRST Oba of Benin, before his arrival Benin kingship was oGiso, as he came he changed the kingship from Ogiso to Obas, AFTER he ruled they for 3 years, he discovered there too trouble some to stay with , and he decided to leave the crazy city and labeled ILe Ibinu now called nenin, and preheated the mother to Eweka,, and Eweka was made a long at tender age, oranmiyan came back to Ile to create too ile, ruled for some time and later put this son Alana there, and went to Ile ife to be the king as the 6 king in ile ife before his demise.
    Since Eweka became the first O bas of Benin after his father Oduduwa, Eweka dynasty are the one telling Benin till then, which mean Benin kingdom was part of Ile ife, because Eweka was our prince. That give birth , and bring stability to Benin Kingdom therefore Benin people you be gteatdul to Yoruba s the sign of ungrateful they are showing by saying Odusuwa was there prince was disrespectful , they should be shut up their moth, because our prince father sought light to them.

      Oduduwa couldn’t have come from Mecca, because people from that region are Arabs unless he was a slave that escaped from that region. Oduduwa was a black man and the fact remains that no one, including the Yorubas has been able to establish the real origin of oduduwa. Both the Benin and Yoruba claims sounds like folklore.
      There are two important points which indicates that there was already some kind of relationship between both tribes before Oranmiyan went to Benin. The first point is why will the Bini’s go to Ife to request for a ruler and the second point is why will Ife grant their request?
      It’s a shame most of our history are oral and not written.

    • @AIupclose
      @AIupclose 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ojames246 Oga go back and do a thorough research. Oduduwa's father Lamurudu was a heavy idol worshiper somewhere around Nile River ( around present day Mecca & Egypt). Due to not submitting to islam he was banished with all his idols ( Horise = Egypt, Orisa = Yoruba). Google the similarity of ancient egypt language and yoruba language as proofs. Mind you, the kingdom of kemet (Kushites) were blacks ruling over the upper Nile and Lower Nile before the islamic revolution by Arabs from Persia (Iran). He left the middle east and oduduwa his son was the one that landed in ile-ife, lets say his father didn't make it to ile-ife. Why ile-ife? they must had been guided by their gods and reason why it was said Oduduwa descended from heaven with a chain was that in the ancient days they possessed mystical powers to travel through the sky. It is so disrespectful to Yoruba race to say your prince from Edo is Oduduwa, your prince lived and died in exile in OGHOTON. You all Benin people are so ungrateful lots to the Yorubas, now i can imagine what Oranmiyan faced and why he called the land ile- ibinu. He angrily abandoned his Palace, govt headquarters in USELU meaning in Yoruba = OSE ILU = Government town. or GRA. and went back home to ile-ife. You all Ibinu people are a big disgrace.
